Just coming back a year later to leave a review. This incubator was well worth it for beginning Hatchers. Very pleased with the functionality and results. I’ve had to play with settings to suit my own hatching methods, and once I figured it all out it’s been great.

UPDATE: the incubator had these small plastic tabs semi blocking the vents of the incubator. Once I popped them out, the humidity stabilized to exactly where it should be, so, I am revising my review and raising my star level...I did not loose any eggs and they are due to hatch in 6 days. I am having difficulty getting the humidity below 55%. the water is in the A slot, and I have tried using paper towels to create a bit of a gap to allow the humidity to go down more...but it is not working. the vents are wide open and still the humidity is too high.

Great little incubator for beginners. You will need a hydrometer/thermometer inside the unit as the temperature and humidity fluctuate. I had to keep it at 101.5F and wrap it in towels to keep the temperature at 99.5. I would not recommend keeping any of the water bottles on the unit but add water as needed as the humidity levels get too high. It is easy to use, works well and is made well. It is easy to clean. Nothing beats a mother hen but this is a nice incubator. You can’t set the humidity level and the alarm goes off constantly if you are trying to dry hatch (keeping humidity between 20 to 35%) for the first 16 to 18 days.

Great quality incubator.Instructions are great!! reasonable. Used it twice, get the eggs from school, so much fun to watch them and care for the eggs. School takes them back about 8 weeks after hatching. of course they are moved into bigger living quarters.
