  • Perfect condition — it even had the poster!
I got this for my husband who had it when he was a kid. He was so excited, especially when he realized it still had the special-edition poster. It will probably end up in a frame somewhere in the house. 😅

  • Twenty Years and Still Brand New!
I grew up on these books. I think I probably checked the whole series from my library more often than any other kid in town. Fast forwards nearly twenty years, and I finally realized I could just buy them outright. Go figure. So I bought all three of them, sadly from different vendors. The second two came in at the same time, both pretty beat up, obviously library copies that had seen better days. But this one? Came in, wrapped up in three layers of protection, two of which were waterproof, and not a single scratch on the cover. If I didn't know better, I'd say it came directly from the printer! Binding cracked in that satisfying "brand new book" way, and just about every single page was perfectly mint. The only one that wasn't was the fold out page, but even then, that looked like a printing error where the machine missed folding it in the right way. I really wish the other two had been so perfect! ... show more

  • A must buy for a Star Wars fan!
Good book. My child just loves it. Surprised at how good quality it really is. Will be loved for a long time. The page that opens and comes out flat of the ship makes conversation even better. Loves it!

  • Star Wars Episode I cross-sections
The media could not be loaded. This is the cross-sections of vehicles from episode I. While quite detailed and infomative it is still a book most likely meant for younger people. It is short on the page count at 32 pages but the shear size of the book is impressive at 10 1/2 X 14 inches. The art work is quite impressive and some include the pilot or occupants of the ship which is a nice touch. I recommend it. Ships included are as follows. The Republic Cruiser Radiant VII. The Trade Federation Landing ship. The Trade Federation MTT (multi troop transport). The Gungan sub. The royal starship of Queen Amidala. The podracers (only Teemto's, Anakin's and Sebulba's podracers are cross sectioned). Darth Maul's Sith Infiltrator. The Trade Federation droid starfighter. The Trade Federation droid control ship (displayed on the fold out pages). The Naboo Royal N-1 starfighter. The Trade Federation AAT (armored assault tank). The Naboo speeder. The Corusant Taxi. ... show more

  • Really great, and a great price.
Got this for my 8 year old star wars fan. This is a very detailed book, he spends time reviewing the pages and matching them up with the toys and the movie. It's a large book and the majority of each page is covered with pictures of the vehicles.

Great illustrations to help you imagine what it would really look like if these vehicles were real. We donated this copy to our school library, but wish we bought one for ourselves!

  • A definate for vehicle lovers!
I always wanted to see more and to be able to look inside of the vehicles more closely, and this book provides that information (and more more) in great detail. I really like the mini illustrations of where in the vehicles that events from the movies took place, it helps to "put a name to a face".
