  • Great table for small apartments
I am writing this review after a year of having it. Still staying up, great material, easy to fold and put away behind the couch. It is I think 3-4 inches wide when you fold it up. A little heavy but so worth it. Great quality, looks nice, and great craftsmanship.

  • Looks nice. Seems sturdy. Had some minor problems with setting up.
First, read the whole description as I skimmed over it once i saw it said no assembly required. Slightly misleading since you do have to assemble the legs. (Which is also stated in the description) Packaging was great. All pieces were wrapped in protective covering and placed in sturdy foam. Outer box was not damaged at all. After unpacking and setting out all the pieces I realized there were no instructions. I looked through the reviews and questions and found a video with all the steps. The folding legs assembled easily. The side legs were annoyingly stubborn. You are supposed to slide the bottom part of the leg into the part attached to the table. It was a tight fit. I had to push with both hands and the sides scraped together enough to have the finish shave off. Next had to bolt them together. The bolts wouldn't fasten. Got a flashlight to see the problem and found metal punch out pieces still attached where the holes were drilled. I had to pull the legs back off....not easy to do.....and fish out the 4 punch out pieces. Put it back together and bolt it in place. Next was the floor protectors, which was a nice surprise since I didn't count on them caring if my floor was protected or not. They assembled easy. Folded the table up and tried to flip it over. Both sides decided to flop open. I set it down and looked for some sort of locking mechanism. There was none. I got someone to help me flip the table upright and proceeded to squish two of my fingers in the pinch points. Totally my fault, but if there was a way to lock the sides down it would be a great improvement. Flipped the table, set it in place and it was a little wibbly wobbly. All I had to do was unscrew the two floor protectors a little bit. I have it set up in the kitchen with half folded down for now. It is sturdy and looks nice. We haven't used it for dining yet, but I don't forsee and problems with the functionality. Will update if there is a clear problem or if there is something that exceeds expectations. ... show more

  • Nice and Sturdy
Very Nice! Little to assemble and very sturdy. Nice looking. I have a small dining area and this is perfect for my use and to expand the leaf when needed.

  • Great value for the money
Okay, this is not the most gorgeous table in the world. But it far exceeds some of its competitors for usefulness, price and multitasking. I just downsized and do not need a full size table everyday. In fact, I'll only need it a few times a year. So why take up valuable real estate? Right now I'm using it as a table behind my sofa. And I can change my mind, give it another fold and hide it away. It's light enough weight and very easy to handle. It seats four very easily. It can be used as a table for two. Between this table, a Murphy table and an expanded countertop, I can easily seat 10 before bringing out the card tables. ... show more

  • Uneven, Weird uneven leg length, drooping wood panels.
So putting it together was actually surprisingly difficult and what made it most complicated was the legs come as separate pieces of metal that have to be slid on to stubs that stick off the main frame... And one of my legs is a good three inches shorter than the other three. It's fortunate that you can screw the feet in quite a bit because the only way my table can stand at all is if three of the feet are screwed in all the way and the one on the short leg is screwed almost all the way out. It just barely touches the floor but it's good enough I guess. Additionally the way the legs are connected to the main frame is clever because it allows for the table's most endearing feature in that you can fold half of it down and use it like a sideboard or all of it down for storage. But that design also has a drawback in that the ends of the cheap particle wood they use as an actual table top is unsupported at the ends and so the corners sort of droop. If they had used real wood, and considering the price they really should have, the drooping wouldn't be an issue but mdf/particle wood... whatever you want to call it, has always had rigidity issues in comparison to real wood and plywood. Also the center part of the frame sits a centimeter or so higher than the two mdf wood flaps which means it's difficult to get much of anything to sit on the surface of the table completely flat. All told I can't recommend it for the money. ... show more

  • One of a kind
We live in a small space, so having a table at all is a bit of a feat. This thing fits right in behind a couch in our living room, one leaf folded against its back and the other open with some stools underneath for breakfasts and good old fashioned homework. In my experience, it was very quick and easy to assemble, and components were heavier than I expected in a positive way. My kids are pretty cruel to it, but it always wipes clean easily and has yet to be damaged... Knock on table. ... show more

  • Imperfections table top
Although I really like the looks of the table and because my area for dining is relatively small, the fact that it can be folded and pushed up against the wall is ideal. However, to say there is "no assembly" is not quite correct....in my case I had a handyman put it together and when he got to the center leg, the screw that came with the table did not fit....and the end of the leg's opening was not completely open....I had to drive him to a hardware store to buy a file, so it took much longer to get the table up than I expected. Also, the top has several smudges and streaks.....but considering I needed the table for a dinner several days after receiving it, I have no choice but to live with the smudges.....so yes, the table top is smooth, but the marks on it on there to stay.....and I will not exchange it considering what it took to put it together.....the table suits my needs, and from the pictures I attached, I do think it looks quite cute.....only good for 4 people, place mats, dishes and glasses....not a whole lot of extra room....we had to eat "buffet style"..... ... show more
