I had purchased a bed from Amazon for my son previous and it was wood. It was terrible and broke so it was important for me to find something sturdy. This b d was cheap so I didn’t have high hopes but it is beyond perfect. I saw reviews that it was noisy and “short” I took short as in length but I understand what they meant now. It is fairly low to the ground but it is got my 9 year old so that works fine. There is zero noise though so I can’t relate to that one. Most importantly my kiddo love it! ... show more

I don't even know how to use a power drill and I can get this baby up and going solo with my crazy curious bull terrier in my face supervising me the whole time. The directions are super easy to follow and it took me less then 30 minutes to put this together by myself. For the price I was afraid it would be cheap but its not. Its nice and sturdy and doesn't squeak or move around a bunch when you lay on it. It is low to the ground but I knew that prior to purchasing.
