I purchased another brand that had a texture of Crisco and sugar. I needed to replace the attachment gears in my Kitchenaid Mixer so it was a good time to apply new grease while I was in there. My Parents had a Kitchen Aid Mixer they picked up new in the 90's that had never been serviced. So after watching a few YouTube video's, I decided to take on the task of cleaning and changing the grease in it. This size was enough to do the service with no grease left over. The Kitchen Aid has also worked perfectly for the last 6 months with no leaks and is running smoother and quieter. I am watching it based on the negative reviews I've read on this product. In my parents case the mixer is lightly used a few times a month. I will update this review if I need to service the machine again. If you have a Kitchen Aid and have never cleaned and greased it, you may want to consider doing so. The 20 plus year old stuff that came out of this mixer, had a rubber like consistency and was hardly doing much lubricating. Check out the video's on the internet. If you decide to take on the project, I would recommend picking up a new gasket. Your old one may remain intact during removal. But it also may not. As for me, I went with the Abesco and while the old gasket stayed intact, I replaced it anyway. Amazon... if anyone reads these reviews... you may want to consider why you have "Flavor" as something to give a star rating to. This product is food grade grease for food making machinery. There shouldn't be a situation where a person would be tasting, or ingesting it. ***Update 2022*** The Kitchen Aid is still smooth and quiet and has been leak free since the service. ... show more
