It is an inexpensive pop up so it's fine as a temporary short term canopy. It will not last anywhere near as long as a $150-$250 canopy. It is perfect for the price.

Other reviews complain that the build quality of the frame is too weak, and complain about broken pieces. This was not my experience, and it felt like any other cheap canopy I've ever owned. So long as you dont force anything, you should be fine. Assembly is also a common point in the negative reviews for this product. Assembly in my case, was, again, exactly like any other canopy I've ever owned. It's incredibly straightforward and well documented in the promotional material that came with the canopy. The only real problem with this canopy is that the actual fabric "canopy" that goes over the frame was cheaply made. The seams almost immediately gave way and it leaked on us quite a bit. If you're getting this, know that it might not be waterproof or that you might need to replace the canopy. As is, its fine for keeping the sun off you. ... show more

Set up was... meh....ok (... def not 'easy'). You will definitely need two people. Take down... is bad. Very bad! On the VERY first (trial only) use -the roof arms bent the wrong way & snapped a chunk out of the 4-way plastic guide piece at the top. I know, i know you're thinking 'oh, they just forced it the wrong way' i assure you that this is not the case! These upper support bars move in either direction!!! right or wrong!! so you better darn well know which way it's moving or the plastic 'mother piece' at the top will snap & crack & then 'ooooh shoot... i'm out 90$ (+warranty) . We were sooo gentle... it was bordering on ridiculous (since there are no take down instructions we only made little itty bitty tiny adjustments while taking this down). My bf (aka: 2nd necessary helper) & i have set up & taken down hundreds.. no probably thousands of tents in our day. We are not idiots. However, we were assuming that if a piece isn't supposed to move in a certain way, the manufacturer should take steps to see that it doesn't move that way (ie better construction) OR include deconstruction instructions on how to avoid this (stupid manufacturer issue) in the first place. This ...... thing is not worth your time! Look elsewhere. (Did i mention we had this not even 45 minutes before the breakage occurred? It's true!) Now I have to take my own time & return this to a ups store) Just stupid! ... show more
