The media could not be loaded. This thing gets hot instantly. I tested it in my bathroom sink, and I can tell it's a very high quality built: Thick power cord, bright shinny polishing metal layer, very solid casting. It's like industry grade. See my video for proof. I tested the alarm by purposely lifting it up partially out of water, and it beeped right away. You can preset the desire temperature and timing. Would be great for regular bathtub, small swimming pool, jacuzzi, etc.

This is a great immersion heater....very easy to use and features great safety features...... heavy duty casing and cord with modern aluminum look is very stylish......I mostly use this heater in my jacuzzi tub to keep the water at desired temperature before getting in ....easy to read led lit indicators keeps me abreast of exact temperature and desired setting of the heater.....saves me gallons of water by not having to refill my tub with hot water to keep it hot like I like it for long periods of time...... this heater has already paid for itself by the money I have saved..... great illustrated directions

I love this thing. I tossed out my old water collection tank water heater (used in my high-production rabbitry). This heater is so much better quality that my old one, especially considering that it has dry burn detection/prevention circuitry built in. As I've experienced a dry-burn incident before myself, this was a top feature for me. I tested this feature first thing in a 5g bucket, first wet, then drained to ensure it actually cut off and indeed, it did. I always place these on block standoffs inside of my 55 gallon collection drums, which each have 5 gallon bucket manhole type access lids on top of them. Anyhow, this heater is seldom going to see max wattage use, as it is remotely controlled by a thermal-sensor regulator but it's still nice knowing that I can, if desired, throttle up the temp/wattage capability. I do enjoy seeing the desired temp setting on the cord, despite the fact that I have a power-on setting for my system elsewhere. At the same time, it's a sort-of incidental redundancy, if perhaps, my primary regulator were to fail somehow. Anyhow, I highly recommend this device thus far. If down the road, something fails or what have you, I intend to update this posting. Cheers!

My water heater went out so I needed something temporary to get warm water in the bath & this thing does the job great. Compared to my old one, this water heater has the temperature shown & let’s you set it at a certain temperature so it doesn’t get to hot. It works better and faster than my old one too. The flat rectangle shape keeps it in place on the floor of the bath & doesn’t move around. My other one only lasted about a month but this one has more weight and seems more reliable so far. Definitely pleased
