Put it in a bedroom at an Airbnb. The parts are cheap and don’t fit together well so it doesn’t mount flush to a ceiling. It also bends if you tighten it too much bc the parts that go together aren’t the right size. I caulked the gap a bit so you don’t really notice as much. I would never buy it again. This pendant is exactly what we needed for our eat in kitchen. I really liked that you can change the hanging length, although I was a bit perplexed at first because one of the pictures showed the rope being bunched up to shorten it. However, my husband assured me that cutting the wire would be fine, as we wouldn't need to have it longer for any other purposes. So if you are shortening it, just make sure you're happy with the length before the snip. My husband has a background in electricity, working with low voltage on many jobs, so he was completely comfortable cutting and splicing. It was a very easy installation and as you can see we chose an Edison lightbulb, which I think really makes the light look beautiful. I saw a few reviews complaining that it wasn't pure white, but I didn't think it looked pure white because of the distressed look. The only complaint I have is there is a dusty residue that got on my hands that skeeved me out, but other than that, it's a beautiful light that totally upgrades our space! ... show more

Light is “white” but in person it’s very cream and the distressing is yellow. Looked very yellow near my true white cabinets.
