The media could not be loaded. The iLiving USA - V8 Foldable Mobility Electric Scooter is a great little scooter for the price. I have researched many scooters and my requirements were that it was lightweight, foldable, easy to maneuver and that the batteries had a decent range. I have only used it once so far. But here are the things I considered Pros with this scooter: I didn’t have to buy another expensive battery. It is truly easily foldable, and fits in the back of my SUV or even in the backseat. I’m glad it isn’t any heavier - my husband can get it loaded in the car but not yet sure I can do. It will work for travel - including airlines and cruise ships. It is comfortable and easy to drive - it is 3 wheel, but it feels like I’m well-balanced. I’ve driven on sidewalks, streets and in dirt/gravel parking lots so far. I like that all the tires are solid - I don’t want to worry about a flat. It’s very easy to charge. Things I still need to do or check out: I want to get a basket for the back. There’s not anywhere to put things. I want to drive it for a longer time and make sure it stays charged for as long as it is supposed to. Note: As you may have read on other reviews the steering post/tiller can be raised and lowered according to your needs. When we raised the steering tiller and tried to lock it in place the plastic spacer in the latch snapped. Customer service (Mariana) responded to us right away and a replacement piece is being shipped to us. (She’s great!) She sent a video too that explains how to fix it. The video refers to the replacement piece as “rubber” - it would be great if it is rubber and isn’t brittle. Having said that, too bad the scooter didn’t come with a rubber spacer instead of plastic that would snap. In spite of this I have to give this scooter 5 stars. The freedom of being able to go out with my family again is so wonderful. I need to practice with it a bit more but it appears that this scooter is just the right size with just the right amenities for me. I will update my review as I use it more. ... show more

Excellent scooter ! Very friendly to use. Great customer service support. I called for a question about the batteries and the key and Mariana guided me through the process in English and Spanish!!

    • So Far So Good
So far the scooter has been great! A couple of glitches but they have been solved. First was being able to lock the battery and take the key out. After working with customer service and watching a video, I figured out that the lock was just stiff. A little WD-40 helped and now it does indeed lock and the key will come out. The second was the little plastic spacer on the tiller adjustment was broken. Customer Service is sending a new one but after looking at it and adjusting the little screw on it, it raises and lowers and stays tight. Hubby has used it on the grass and we live in the country so it's not a flat lawn by any means. Worked like a charm! I've talked with customer service 2 or 3 times and Mariana has been very helpful and answered my questions right away. Nice to dial a number and have a real person answer the phone. All in all I would purchase this scooter again. It's not terribly heavy for me but I'm pretty strong. A more fragile person might have a bit of trouble. Best thing I can suggest is to place a blanket over the vehicle bumper and move the scooter right next to it. Lift the scooter from the bottom and slide it into the vehicle. Also, we didn't really like the rather expensive bag that goes on the back so we went to Walmart and got a nice not too big backpack. The straps go nicely over the back of the seat and the backpack hangs in the back great. ... show more

    • Definitely not a safe scooter stability issues!
Definitely like compact size like the collapsible Airline accepted you know attributes of the scooter! I actually got this scooter under the impression even that it was three wheels with the stability wheels on each side of the front tire it would have more stability to it but not at all, myself and my husband just rode through the house& when would roll over our kitchen memory foam mats that had a little lift to it both of us had to catch yourself from turning over!! Honestly for safety reasons I would not recommend this because of the lack of security with this stability of it! I was so happy because I thought I found one after reading reviews checking the spec. out on it, in order to have a scooter that was light enough for me to get in and out of my CRV....... definitely not the case so that's as far as I got with learning the positives and negatives of the scooter because we knew out of the box my husband and I did not want to risk for me to flip over! I kind of went against my therapist on suggesting me to stay away from three wheel scooters but the only reason I tried this is for the stability bills it had to stabilize it from flipping went off balance!! It definitely did not need to go into the yard or anywhere that you might get off of balance and make sure you don't run over a curb because if you hit it just so you will flip over!! Again I like the compact size of it still a little heavy to get in and out of the car with having balance issues and the company does sell a four-wheel is just heavier. So unfortunately I'm back to square one looking for a device that would be light enough to get in out of the car myself and that has durability warranty and support with it!! ... show more
