I bought this under cabinet radio/CD player mostly for playing CDs. However, I use its Bluetooth feature every single day. The reviews I read were mixed, but I figured I'd give it a shot in the interest of saving counter space. Am SO glad I did; the sound is absolutely amazing! We had to go to Home Depot for some longer screws; our cabinets have a deep overhang and the screws it came with could not reach the device. I like that it includes a map of the drill holes, helps if a man is around to take care of installation. Still, it was pretty easy to set up all the way around; HIGHLY recommend! ... show more

We bought this to replace a Sony under cabinet radio/cd player that had reception problems. Of course the holes for this did not match the holes for the old radio, and I'm loathe to keep drilling holes in the bottom of our shelves. They provided a template for how to install it, but that was confusing (Why do I need longer screws if B is less than 1/4 inch? -- wouldn't I need longer screws if B is more than 1/4 inch? and how is B different from A? But I decided that if I attached the radio to a board (10.5 x 16) to match the underside of the cabinent, and then used the old holes to attach the board to the cabinet, I could get it installed without extra holes in the counter. Once it was all installed, I found that the power cord was too short -- 60 inches while I needed 63 inches! But again, I just had to move the board over 3 inches and put new holes into the adaptor board to attach it to the cabinets. Now the problem is trying to figure out the buttons to control the thing. The buttons are small, and poorly labeled. It comes with a remote but that will be useless -- most likely lost in the first week. The timer is useless -- if you try to set it, it starts at 180 minutes and all you can do is count down by 10. So to get 10 minutes you have to start it at 180 and count down by pressing the button 17 times. And all that only works if the power is off. And I can't see that the bluetooth will be useful -- I already have my phone bluetoothed to my watch, so how it the phone know where to send a call. A USB input would be more helpful. So it is missing that. Update: We installed it in July and it died in December. It only has a 90 day warranty, so we are out of luck. The problem is that the speakers just stopped making any sound -- like a broken wire to it. But of course once it was bolted into place, it hasn't moved. It tunes to different stations. We can hear the motor running the CD player, and see the display change from track to track. But there is no sound. Almost like there is a mute button. ... show more

Sewing room location, so totally out of the way. Remote is nice and easy to use. The sound is much better than I expected. I only have used the CD player, easy to open and load/unload. Would buy again if had a need.

It’s so odd to us older people, but it’s difficult to find a CD player in this day and age. This one works perfectly well I really like the remote control and the convenience of being able to pop in a CD and listen to it while I’m working in the kitchen. Before this one, we had a Sony, which honestly had much better sound, but obviously CD players are obsolete and the Sony player was not repairable. This one is a nice substitution. ... show more

The pros of this cd player /radio is that it does mount under the cupboard and is out of the way. It has everything you need to mount it and it even comes with a remote control. Cons- right out of the box you couldn't adjust the volume, it was on loud only, and the controls are confusing unless you have instructions in hand. I had to unplug the device several times (reboot) before the volume is controllable. This has been needed several times. I would have returned it but it was already installed and sorta working, also there isn't a lot of options for CD players for the kitchen under cabinet mounting. Bought this last year. Almost immediately I had trouble getting it to switch modes. Never tried the Bluetooth connection. YES - like they all say - when this first comes on in ANY mode it is past earpiercing, then it moderates to what you set it for. I used to be able to get both FM and CD; now I can't get any FM connection, and the past couple of months it ONLY comes on it you unplug it and plug it back in. It is in a wall outlet, not a power cord. SO, I wanted a CDC player, and that's all it does, once I can get it to start. I know CD players are getting harder and harder to come by, but this is really a bad deal. ... show more
