I believe this machine is great for beginners use, this is my first time ever buying a espresso machine, I definitely love it! If you love Starbucks or making your own coffee at home, then I think this machine gets the job done.

The media could not be loaded. The ILAVIE espresso machine is a compact machine that takes up little room on your countertop. While sitting there on your countertop, the ILAVIE shows off its good looks. Although the machine is compact, it doesn't skimp out on features. The unit has a built in water take in the back that holds 900ml of water. Across the top of the unit, you have the warming rack for your cups. The ILAVIE also has some programing features that allows you to dial in your consistent cup of perfection. The ILAVIE comes pre-programmed with volume settings for 1 and 2 cup espressos. The great thing about these settings is that you can easily change them. I found the pre-programmed settings to produce too little volume for my liking. However, it was a very simple procedure to change the setting. After changing the settings, I am finding that the unit is pretty good at consistently reproducing the same volume of espresso I programmed it to. When you power on the ILAVIE, it instantly starts heating the water. This is so that when you press the 1 or 2 cup button, you instantly get espresso. The amazing thing is that it takes very little time between turning the unit on and it being ready to produce a cup of espresso. It is really impressive how quickly the boiler creates steam. Speaking of steam, the ILAVIE quickly heated my cold oat milk and then easily created a nice foam. While I am overall quite impressed with the ILAVIE, there is one thing about the unit that I am not totally thrilled with. This is the portafilter. Specifically, the filter inserts for the portafilter. The way that the screen filters are designed, you can't properly clean them. The screened section of the filter that the puck of coffee sits is sealed on the bottom. The bottom has one small hole where the coffee condenses and drains from. Because this is sealed top and bottom, there is a void that you can't access to clean. While running the unit without coffee will most likely clean and disinfect the filter with steam, I would still like to be able to access it to clean. I am probably over thinking this as I have seen other espresso machines, brand name ones too, that utilize this style of filter. Overall, I am really enjoying using the ILAVIE and am also enjoying the coffee that it produces. I really like the fact that I can set a consistent volume for the machine to produce. This allows me to focus solely on the grind and tamp of my coffee to produce the best cup of coffee I can. If you are looking for espresso machine, I think you will really enjoy the ILAVIE espresso machine.

This espresso machine is amazing. It’s very easy to use with the included instructions and it makes a shot of espresso very quickly. It is very solid and stable even though it has a small stature to it. It holds just the right amount of water, so there is no need to have to refill it as often as other models out there. The quality of the craftsmanship in the materials seems to be quite superior and its functionality is very good. I don’t drink espresso’s often, but it is nice to have this sitting away in our pantry and knowing it’s very easy to turn on and use on short notice. Overall, the craftsmanship is quite superior, and the materials are high-quality, making this an excellent value for money. Highly recommended..

I stopped going to coffee shops many years ago when I realized I could make just as good, if not better, brews in the comfort of my own home. I love trying out new brewing products. This little espresso machine takes up very little counter space and makes an excellent shot of espresso. It has a nice design and functions with ease. My favorite part is the milk frother/steamer arm. This is a fantastic machine that is very easy to use!

The milk frother is good also, comea with 2 sizes for coffee. Very easy to use. Is not like a very expensive machine and delivers great for the price. Far Better than a Nespresso capsules machine.

If you want to have a leisurely morning and make yourself a cup of coffee with rich milk froth, make sure you try it! It doesn't seem to me that we need a bigger espresso machine lol It's really great, if you need a small and delicate coffee maker please do try it!
