I had a different brand that lasted years before I replaced with this one. It lasted only 2 months before it became unusable. The stitching came apart after about a month and now it is completely torn and cannot be used. Very disappointing.

Having had several types and brands of crappy massagers in the past I didn't have high hopes this one would be any better. But it popped up as a lightening deal on a day when my spine was being more problematic than usual so I took a chance and ordered it. Any shiatsu device I've tried in the past was always more painful than therapeutic. Mostly because the "fingers" were just too forceful and seemed to be much too hard a plastic for their intended purpose. But not this puppy! It's the Godilocks of massagers. Everything is just right. If you've had bad luck with massagers in the past like me, I highly suggest you give this a try before giving up on the idea all together. How you position your body in relation to the machine is a critical factor in your relief level. Experiment with different angles and pressures and I'm confident you'll find something that works well for you. Hope this helps. ... show more

I have suffered with back pain since I was 20 and I’ve tried SO many different massagers. This is a great massager especially for the price point. The size is perfect for the areas I am targeting which is a stubborn knot in my left scapula. I found the perfect way (for me) to use it which is; putting the massager on the couch against a pillow on a slight angle, I fold a fleece blanket over it to ease the pressure and adjust the setting accordingly. Then, I lay on it in a Fowler’s position and put a pillow behind my head. It gets my whole shoulder area and the balls are the perfect width apart. I lean into the left shoulder a little more to work that knot. The right scapula still gets worked, but not as hard. It’s literally the perfect massage. ... show more
