Took a few hours to build but pretty awesome. No problems with the lifting at all. Instructions to build were good, no issues there. Thought the headboard shelves were going to be a little wider but still works and looks great.

Unlike the only previous review I saw (which is now missing), I had all the parts and shockingly FedEx did not damage them like they have ever other bed frame ordered by residents of my apartment complex (yay me). There are a LOT of pieces to sort out and stage. Issues we (I would not suggest trying to construct this alone) encountered, were that some of the directions were beyond vague, and in a couple steps, the manual said to use part "#" and piece "X", but then the image had a different part number and letter. Another part was in the final steps, where you add the 2 rails in the frame under the mattress - there is a padded and unpadded side, with NO clue or instruction as to what side is up. After 4 very long hours of construction because of the baffling instruction book having us taking apart and backtracking to redo several times due to the lack of clarity in directions, we realized we had a 50/50 chance of getting the padding on the correct way and failed. We opted to just go with it, because we were exhausted and just wanted to go to bed. The overall sturdiness seems fine, but the headboard section is not going to hold much weight and is not as sturdy as we had hoped. The shelf with the power station is really limiting, so glasses and a charging phone fits, but not a whole lot of anything else. Not sure if it matters, but I ordered the King size frame. The pictures are a bit deceiving, because there is really not a lot of storage underneath. My underbed storage totes are about an inch too tall. If you do not have a tall mattress (I only have an 8" memory foam one", you will need to get one or get a bunkie board/box spring, because you are only about 18" off the floor. For my arthritic bones, that is not a good thing, so I will be getting a box spring.

There is a lot I want you to know about this bed frame. We really like it, but it does have its drawbacks. The pros are: - the fake wood panels look super real and they are dense and durable. - the extra bars underneath make it feel more stable and make it less likely to break. - the shelf is super handy. - the hydraulics that lift the bed are VERY powerful. - it is the best deal for the level of durability and quality that you are getting. BUT. There are also some cons. - This bed is a horrible pain to put together, and an even bigger pain to disassemble to move. We unexpectedly moved twice after getting this bed frame, and it has been the worst part every time. - The outlet is handy, but it is not the best quality. Occasionally, it will emit a high pitched sound while charging something, which is obviously not great. - The hydraulics are so powerful that they cannot be closed without the weight of a mattress. We had to tie them shut with ropes when we moved, and it made it difficult to get the mattress on with the base lifted way up in the air. - The hydraulics are also sensitive to weight changes, so if you sit up at the very top of the bed, they tilt up just a bit, which I’m not a huge fan of. To be fair, we have a lighter mattress though, so if you have a heavy mattress, you should be fine. All in all, it has been a good, stable bed, especially compared to the last one from Amazon, which broke after a few months.

Overall 9/10! Sturdy, well packaged, no damage upon arrival, VERY important to note that it is delivered in 2 boxes (which is also mentioned somewhere in details) Unlike so many other folks, instruction manual worked great for me! No unnecessary information to get confused with. HIGHLY recommend sorting everything out alphabetically/numerically before starting to build, will save you headache later, it’s all very well labeled. It’s possible to build by yourself, but much easier with a second set of hands. Only issue I has was the pilot holes for the outlet were not in the right place, so it I had to re-drill them to make it fit more flush. Wish there were matching night stands, found something that was close enough but oh well. First world problem Overall, highly recommend so far As someone else mentioned, it’s not a super tall space underneath, and there also is a 2x2inch-ish vertical support rod in the very middle of storage space to keep mattress upright, so wouldn’t be possible to store something the size of the entire mattress underneath

I am very satisfied with this bed. Upon delivery, one of the boxes was damaged and I expected to find damaged parts inside but it was packed very well and luckily there was no damage inside. I found this bed very easy to assemble. Every piece of the bed and hardware was labeled with letters/numbers that correspond with the instructions. Just match up the letters/numbers with each step of the instructions and it all goes right together! The only thing that wasn't clear in the instructions is which side of the center piece with the foam strips faces up, but I'm sure I guessed correctly. The included allen wrench wasn't the best quality. I do wish the bed was a few inches taller to increase storage room underneath but overall I'm very satisfied!
