This was a good buy. I ordered three and had no problem installing them. The only issue I had was that the steps were very hard on my bare feet to climb as they are round but easier with a slipper or shoe on. Overall a good product.

This bed frame is actually quite sturdy! My biggest complaint is the instruction Manuel, it crams way too many tasks into just one part of the assembly, making it hard to grasp what the instruction wants you to do, I'm a veteran when it comes to bunk bed assembly and when the instructions confuse me, it makes me worried about people who are trying to do this for the first time. Best part overall is the customer service tho! My package arrived well over 3 days earlier than the earliest projected time, but arrived in a really bad state (thanks FedEx, you failed me again!) but these guys representative was super understanding and refunded the complete amount I paid for shipping and handling! My son is 8yrs old and always wanted a bunk. I like the twin/ full cause when he grows out of the twin he can use the full. When we have sleepovers its perfect. This item is as described in the photo. 4⭐️'s only because we tried to switch the latter to the other side and it's not possible. It took approximately 2hrs to put together. Excuse the crude stick figure in place of my friend. I’ll be honest, I was a little worried when first thinking of getting this bed frame, since I knew the ladder could not be placed on the left side of the bed frame without some kind of modification. In the end, I bit the bullet and decided to purchase it since I really needed a smaller bed for my space. My two friends and I set it up during a sleepover and things went great! It was fairly easy, and the instructions were simple enough. As long as you organize the parts before getting to things, you will do just fine. I originally had a full size, memory foam mattress, but I cut the mattress to the standard twin size measurements and it fit perfectly :-) In order to get the ladder on the left side of the bed, I basically had to sacrifice the use of the rail on that side. I flipped the bar in which you would attach the ladder, but because of that it also means you cannot use the guard rail. For me, this is fine. I am a young adult, and barely move in my sleep. The tent which I also got for my bed serves the purpose as a sort of guard rail too. As long as you don’t move a lot in your sleep, like I do, it really will never be an issue if you are missing a guard rail! Speaking of being a young adult, I am 157 pounds, and this bed supports me perfectly fine. Same with the ladder, which does not even include the support beam due to how I flipped the main bar which the ladder attaches to. I was worried when people mentioned the beds breaking, but I can only assume that is due to faulty parts or some seriously heavy use or shaking of the bed. Either way, things are fine for me. However, I definitely recommend buying pads for the ladder rungs. I have not bought any yet, and I am doing fine, but it does hurt a bit going up. Other than that, the only other thing I would mention is the noise. As I said before, I do not move very much in my sleep, but when I do, there is only a little bit of noise from the bed frame. However, keeping the bolts tight on the bed frame really helps with that! I believe most of the noise is from the slats, as they are not secured with the same method as other parts of the bed. Other than that, the bed is virtually noise free. Very small movements will not cause noise as long as you tighten the bolts. I think that is all I can say about this bed frame! It serves its purpose well, and for the amount of money I spent on it I would say it was well worth it :-) I hope this in depth review will help anyone looking to seriously purchase this! ... show more

Very sturdy and fairly easy to assemble looks nice Instructions didn’t require a rocket scientist and I put most of it together by myself and it took about 2 hrs predominately alone so could knock it out in a lot less time if you have at least 2 people.

We bought this bed one year ago - here's how it has gone thus far: Positive: Functionally, my kids like this bed and it works well for them. There's enough room for the top and lower bunk kids to sit up and be comfortable, which isn't always the case. Positive: Visually, it looks pretty nice, considering the price. Positive: It wasn't THAT hard to put together. I did it by myself. Positive: It seems like a great value. Positive: Despite the creaking (see below), it still seems quite sturdy/solid. Positive: We really like the full bottom/twin upper setup; a lot of the time, our kids still want to cuddle at night so having extra space on the bottom is key. Negative: It's pretty darn creaky, especially when someone climbs up to the top bunk. It's not HORRIBLE though, and I haven't done anything to try and improve it, so maybe a little silicone or some retightening would help. Negative: The long, front-facing guardrail on the top bunk broke - the upper left corner weld failed, revealing sharp, dangerous metal. I have written the company asking for a replacement, and I will update this if my customer support experience is either terrible or wonderful. Hopefully this is just a fluke. Negative: The thin, round metal bars of the steps are hard on the feet (especially non-kids!) I'm sure you could add something to remedy this. Overall, I'd still recommend this bed since the price is so reasonable, the looks are nice and clean and modern, and the headroom/space given to the lower and upper bunk dwellers is just right - not too many beds hit all three of those. I kinda' wish I could give it 3.5 stars - four seems too high (considering that failed weld and the creaking), but three seems too harsh, possibly. It's not perfect, but it's worth checking out if you need a budget bunk bed! ... show more
