It’s solid enough to where you don’t sink in whenever you sit on it and it’s soft enough to wear. It feels very comfortable while you’re laying down. I love this chaise! Have used it to just relax for myself as well as stretching and doing yoga poses. The material is very soft. I see there are zippers but I think it would be very hard to wiggle the dense foam out of the covers without ripping open the material. This is VERY dense foam. It did take 3 full days for it to “mature” into its made shape. It is soft but does not give so much like memory foam. Yet, it is very comfortable to sit/use. The less star is that it is too short height wise. I wish, from floor to top, that this had at least 12 more inches on the base to make it higher. I would definitely buy another one if it were higher and easier for a guy to use as well. We we use it together for our intimate times, he cannot sit on it or do moves from ends standing up because it sits too low on the floor. However, it is a good overall piece and well made. It looks good as well. I keep it covered with a soft waterproof blanket when using with my guy to keep it clean. ... show more

This is ridiculously comfortable and fits into my little room perfectly. Zero regrets. The ONLY slight negative is that the knee/ankle cushion snaps don't hold.
