Exactly what I needed. I have cats that were always stepping on the snooze and off buttons on regular alarm clockradios, so I needed something different. This fits the bill perfectly, and gave me more than expected. First, the color-changing option is a really neat, fun feature, in itself, and because you can easily adjust the brightness at any time it’s also a great nightlight which can then be brightened during the day. But what I really like, but didn’t expect, was the gradient sound for the radio alarm; it starts off lower and then increases so you don’t get startled out of sleep. So no matter where you are in your ‘sleep cycle’ you will awaken feeling better than with a regular full-blast alarm. It has a USB so I can charge my cell off it without needing another plug, and doesn't have a large footprint on my nightstand. The snooze buttons are in front of the other buttons and have tactile bumps so they’re easy to distinguish, and the stations come in clearly. Overall, I am very pleased and feel it’s worth the price.

I originally saw this in a store that shall remain nameless (it had bed stuff, bath stuff and was beyond everything else) but it was priced around $80. So, I did what I always do nowadays and came on Amazon to se if they had it cheaper...and 9 times out of 10 they usually do. Well, it was $30 cheaper so I thought why not. 2 Days later the item arrived and I unpacked and had it set up within 5 minutes. Paired with my phone and ready to go. Let me say that I see the ads where they have the positives and the negatives, but I do not really have anything negative to say. It is a quality product, with solid build and it does exactly what it says it should do. The color changing is soft and slow and very effective and the quality of the speaker is brilliant. Overall I am very impressed and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a good alarm clock / speaker / color changing thingamajig.

I love this little alarm clock. I would have given it 5 stars but the first one I purchased did not work so I had to return. My 2nd one works just fine (it's been about a month now - I'll try to remember to update the review if something goes wrong). I purchased this primarily to use as an alarm clock, but it has so many extras that I really like: - It charges my iphone or anything else that charges with a USB. - The lights!!! You can easily set it to change color, stay the same color or turn the lights off completely. - Bluetooth & speaker - easily syncs with iphone, can take calls & play music (I have not used the phone call functionality but did test that it would play music from my phone). - It takes up very little space for those of us who are greedy with their nightstand realestate. As an alarm clock: - has dual alarms so you can set a different time for weekends, though you will have to manually change from alarm 1 to alarm 2. - snooze button has ridging on it so you can find it easily in the dark. - the button to change the light settings is right behind snooze, so you can easily turn the lights on and off in the dark. - you can set it to wake up to radio or iphone music (not sure if there's a buzzer, haven't checked). - you can set it to wake up to a specific light setting - I turn my lights off at night, so like that the alarm turns them back on. - the 'wake-up process' is not jolting - i.e. music starts softly and gets louder so it doesn't give you a heart attack. This alarm clock is really easy to use. I've seen other reviews say that it has a steep learning curve but I don't see that. There is a button on the back for pretty much everything and they are clearly labeled. If you've ever used a typical electronic alarm clock before, it's pretty much standard except for the lighting feature. I had this up and running in minutes. My only concern is that the first one I received didn't work - wouldn't turn on at all - so I'm somewhat worried about how durable this will be. I'll update the review if it breaks down again. It's been a month and so far so good.

I had a prior clock that I was really happy with, but it burned out a segment, so I thought I would give the iHome clock a try. It takes a little bit to get the time setup, and reading the instructions are critical. But once you understand how it works, it works great. I really like having it light up to wake you up [I have it on a purple setting, very pretty] along with music [FM radio].
