I have a 4090 in my laptop, as well as a laptop cooler stand. I thought I was taking a chance on getting this, but I'm pleased so far. I've yet to notice any game fps loss, but whenever I touched the bottom of the laptop, it was insanely hot. I bought this fan hoping it would help on top of the cooling stand. I can feel the hot air blowing out well; it has many fan settings, and at the highest, you will slightly hear it run. My laptop also has two vent ports, 1 on each side, one for the CPU and the other for the GPU. I could pick up another for the CPU side, but I probably will not unless my laptop starts having heat issues. This fan works great, but the pics are slightly misleading. It defaults to Celsius every morning and I have to reset every day. That being said, it’s solid, it cools well (even on auto). My work laptop is 3+ years old and I routinely have multiple large Excel files open at once so I’m maxing out my processor and RAM on a regular basis. This keeps my temp under 100° F while working. I have my laptop on a riser and I haven’t had any issues with it falling off once I got it seated. The suction cup base is flimsy plastic and not worth considering, but the metal plate with the silicone sleeve works fine, even without exposing the tape. ... show more

I used to have some temperature issues before this fan. This experience was amazing and this one is really great. It is very powerful and with different speeds, but it is not very quiet, but it is something that doesn't bother me. Really wanted this product to work but didn't. Reviewed other people's comments indepth, photos, tested all seals, adjustments. Tried from both sides and rear vents. At most I could see 2-3C difference. Not enough to justify heat reduction. Even with it on a times heat would increase. Top of line laptop Gigabyte Aero 16 BSF. Product is great. I actually purchased two. Be cautious you will likely receive a used item. First item I received was used/returned. Had no instructions, no plastic cover on screen, no bag with the dust cover because it was already in the product. No 3m take on metal attachment. Either way product worked well, I ordered another. This is how I found out I was sold a used/returned item. I give the seller 1* for shady practices (it's likely ScAmazon fulfilling though) 5* for product and price. Many reviews said to put on highest fan settings, I found with a good connection to the vent, using the auto setting worked great; laptop stays 40s for GPU and 40-55 on CPU. ... show more

I followed all the instructions without attaching the 3M sticker. I saw no difference in temps. I ran 3 different personal benchmarks. All returning with 0 drops in temps. Want to see real temp changes? Open and deep clean your laptop. Re-apply thermal paste. Clean Install of operating system. Get a couple ice packs and a laptop cooler pad and watch your temps drop about 5-6 degrees. I do not suggest buying this device. ... show more
