I hate being shaken down. This is an item you buy because you really need it. It's priced ridiculously high as a result. However, the device works better than any device I've tried. I own a MSI Prestige 15 laptop, which is very powerful and capable even today, but it got so HOT I was concerned it would bake itself, and I reduced CPU, GPU and other use, so I couldn't tap its' full capabilities. This device forces air thru the laptop faster than the laptop can take it. At full force, air starts coming out of holes in the laptop I didn't even know existed, including between the keys. It keeps the ENTIRE laptop cool, not just the key spots like the built in fans do. I can do heavy work all day long with the cooler's fan at 600, with acceptable noise level for office work. If I push the laptop extra hard, I've needed to crank the cooler ip to as much as 1400 at which point it's pretty loud. Given how expensive the laptop was, and/or how much it would cost to replace, it's worth the price for what should otherwise be a $25 item.

Excellent product, delivers what is set to do. May be a little loud, but man does my laptop run cooler while playing games using this thing, before, even playing not so graphically demanding games, the game would start to stutter as soon as the temps were too high, but now, no stutters no matter how much I keep playing. Before, my GPU would go from 0 to 85 in just some minutes. Now, I can keep it on 60-65 without even having this device running at maximum power

I used to think laptop coolers were all show and no substance. I assumed they just added RGB lighting and fan noise without actually cooling anything. But the Llano laptop cooler completely changed my opinion. This cooler consistently drops my gaming temps by around 20°C. Before using it, my laptop would hit 90°C+ during intense gaming sessions. Now, it stays closer to 70°C, even during longer play sessions. That’s not just a minor improvement—it’s a huge difference for both performance and hardware longevity. The build quality is solid, and the fans actually move a significant amount of air. It has multiple speed settings and covers the full base of my 16” laptop. The airflow is noticeable, and you can feel the hot air being pushed out rather than just stirred around. If you care about protecting your laptop’s internals and keeping temps under control, this cooler is a gamechanger. It’s not just a gimmick, it’s a worthwhile investment. Also to all the folks out there saying you have to push the button super hard to get it on, its timer based haha. Just hold your finger on it for like 2-3 seconds and it will turn on and off.

I game on a Asus Zephyrus M16 with a 3070 TI and 12th gen i9. And it gets HOT. While I understand that using a gaming laptop is bad, it's all I have and it has worked great for a few years! So here's the good: Cooling: Great. I can notice a performance increase after longer periods of gaming. Control: Pretty good. You can change how fast the fan spins per 100rpm. Which is nice, so I can vary the noise levels. Form factor: Excellent. for me this is perfect it sits the laptop up nicely, allowing air to better circulate. And the bad: The power button is REALLY REALLY difficult to push. I have had it for a few days and I have got to unplugging it and replugging it back in to use it. The noise: this is the be expected, so I wouldn't fault them. But when the fan hits 2800rpm it is AGGRESSIVE. however my headphones drown it out.

Recently bought this for my MSI - 18" GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU - Intel Core Ultra 9 285HX, under heavy load it was hitting 72C & 62C at idle. I was very surprised that I got 52C to 62C depending on the load for different games & around 44C at idle. It's a huge drop in temp and hopefully will extend the life of my laptop for years to come. My laptop is very large and fits on the cooler with no problems. Cons: Very loud at 2800 rpm but after some tweaking I found 1200 rpm got me the temps I posted above & lowered the noise to an acceptable level. Only had a gain of another -2C @ 2800 rpm. I use headphones anyway so 1200 rpm is unnoticeable, however, can hear it @ 2800 rpm w headphones.

Works great for my gaming laptop - idle temperatures dropped about 5-7 degrees C, and gaming temperatures dropped 10-20 degrees, depending on what game I played, and RPM of the fan. An important factor to note is fan speed and noise, which will increase at a sharp rate as you heighten the fan speed. 300-600 RPM was quiet enough to go unnoticed, whilst maintaining a significant decrease in temperatures, 600 up to 1200 would be a bit louder, and decrease temperatures another 4-6 degrees, and 1200+ RPM would produce significant noise, and only decreasing temperatures by 2-4 on my laptop. For gaming, I found the sweet spot considering cooling and noise was between 800-1600 RPM, and 300-600 when idle. with Overall well worth the price for performance, and a must for any high-end gaming laptops. Other thing to note: Knob to change fan speed is quick and responsive Size may be an issue if you constantly travel with it Conveniently comes with a usb hub Build feels sturdy and durable 5/5 !!!

Very easy to set up, working well even for the monster size of my Acer Predator Helios 18. It's not an absolute perfect fit, but there's no gaps between the foam and the computer. Variable fan speed works very well, actually dropped my room temperature a bit as a result of using it above 1000RPM. It dropped my temps from the point I was getting CPU clock watchdog BSODs on modded Minecraft to being able to run ATM modpacks easily below 80°C.

This works well at cooling. Unfortunately it also randomly turns off and on and the power button is ABSURDLY hard to push down to get it to engage. Pretty disappointed for the price point.
