Just got this today, so hopefully not too premature in my 5-star rating. I had to replace a previous laptop cooling pad from another company - the kind that has 11 fans, is 1/3 price, but only lasted 6 months before one or two of the fans started making loud noises. This one is much sturdier and appears to be made better. Like the reviews, I tested it with a benchmark program (FurMark) and within a minute or so, brought the temp down 10-20 degrees Celsius at full fan power (2800 RPM). I won't keep it there as it's loud, but good to have if you're gaming or running CPU intensive applications. Right now I have it at 500 RPM, which is quiet, and it seems to keep the temperature down. I'll likely adjust it depending on what I'm doing. Adding noise-cancelling headphones will certainly help if you have it at higher RPMs (>1000). Definitely worth the price over the other cheaper ones. Seems 1 good fan is better than 11 cheap ones.

Gaming laptop gets very hot this cooler is amazing and has lasted me all this time it's been a year already and working strong. This cooler has been life saving and gets the temp down as much as needed if you want to go higher in rpm, but it can do the job even at 300 to 600. The noise sounds very smooth sounding not annoying. Led lights look great as well

So, I'm lucky I work a 3rd shift job that allows me to use my Legion 5 gaming laptop for hours a night. As you can see, it is small enough to put into a book bag and take it with me. There are really only two choices if you want proper cooling of a gaming laptop, and thats either the llano or the iets gt500/600. I actually purchased the 500 and 600 but both were too large to bring with me on a regular basis. With the llano it is the perfect size for my 16in gaming laptop, and the cooler is small enough to travel to work as well. I have been using it for a few months now, and I love it. The fan can get a little loud, but I keep the fan around 1100 rpm, and it's quieter then my laptop fans on full blast. The llano keeps also keeps my temps while gaming under 70c on average, on both the cpu and gpu. Without it, the laptop averages around 80c. Which, for a gaming laptop, is still good temperatures. If I crank the fan to max rpms it keeps it around 65/60c while running prime95 which is amazing. While gaming temps never saw above 55c when it is running at max rpms. But, sadly, the fan is too loud at this speed unless I have headphones on. But because of my job, I simply cannot do that. So 1100 is a good sound to performance ratio. The lights are nice, I suppose, plenty of choices, and the build quality is solid. Yes, it's expensive, but if you are like me, and want to make sure your laptop lasts, I consider either the llano or iets coolers a must buy. Or, if your laptop is getting into the 90/100c while gaming because either your fans are dieing or thermal paste is drying up, this will extend the life span even further. I don't know what else needs to be said. Tldr; if you need PROPER cooling for your laptop, and your laptop has bottom ventilation (which is required) this will do it justice.

My gaming laptop becomes uncomfortably hot, gpu temps 151°F and higher. More so as ambient temperatures rise above 80°. The Llano cooling fan worked immediately with no perceptible heat coming from the laptop. Adjustable fan speed 300-2800 RPM. On its lowest setting it is very efficient. The fan noise becomes overwhelming at slightly higher RPM settings, Deafening at 1,200 2800, forget about it. The included power supply is required. The cable connection to the laptop is not. Convenient controls front center: On/Off, lighting, and a roller adjustment for fan speed. The assembly raises the laptop height about 2-1/2”. It requires a flat surface to use. The foam gasket does the trick. I have a 16” laptop and a smaller size laptop may require precise laptop placement. The RGB lights easily extinguished from the control switch. Would highly recommend.

The cooler arrived yesterday, and I'm honestly impressed with its cooling performance. After running a benchmark, my score increased by around 200 points, which clearly shows how well it helps with temperatures. Setup was easy, but I ran into a few issues: It's quite large and weighs about 2 kg, almost the same as the laptop itself. The power cable is a bit short, which limits placement flexibility. On the Legion 5 Pro 2025, the laptop speakers are located on the bottom, and the cooler’s foam insulation completely blocks them, which noticeably affects sound quality. I'm still testing it, but I’m strongly considering returning it, not just because of the size, but also because it covers the bottom speakers, which is a dealbreaker for me. If you have enough space and don’t rely on the built-in speakers, the performance is excellent.

I was struggling with my laptop overheating and even getting blue screens during heavy use in the summer. After purchasing the llano V12 RGB Laptop Cooling Pad, I’ve noticed a dramatic improvement. It features a large 5.5-inch powerful turbofan that cools my 15.6-inch laptop very effectively, keeping temperatures stable even during gaming or intense work sessions. The adjustable speed and touch control are very convenient, letting me find the perfect balance between cooling and noise. Up to about 600 RPM, the fan noise is minimal and hardly noticeable. When pushed higher, the noise does increase but remains acceptable considering the cooling performance. The LCD screen display adds a nice touch, showing the fan speed clearly. The RGB lighting looks great but can be turned off if preferred. Overall, this cooling pad has been a game changer for me, preventing crashes and extending my laptop’s performance in hot conditions. Highly recommend it for anyone needing serious cooling!
