  • This does what it is designed to do!
Color: Black
We have used this a few times and it has done its job really quite well. At first it had printed blank sheets when I had hit print and it had turned out that I just had the paper upside down. As embarrassing as it is to admit, hopefully it helps someone else if they have the same issue. Just turn the paper over. The software seemed easy to locate and install. There were more options that I would have preferred when selecting the printer and the size options but after a bit of looking I was able to find the correct settings and it worked quite well. We use it with Pirateship. It does print labels for shipping packages quite well. It is accurate and simple. It should be noted that it doesn't come with a lot of paper for printing the labels. I would recommend getting more 4x7 paper. ... show more

  • Update attached: Ink is hardly readable as if there is none in there.
Color: Black
Update: I was finally able to find assistance to why the print was hardly visible. It was a very easy fix, finding how to do it was another story. But for anyone who purchases this printer and has the same problem. You will find the "FAQ" instructions and "video guides". If you are printing your labels from an online platform, go to "FAQ", then "SP410/SP420 Platform Setup" and select the platform you are using or select the "other platforms" if you do not find your specific platform. For setting the Halftone and Density, go to the "video guides" and select the SP410 model. This is the 2nd one I purchased. I returned the first one because it is not printing where it can be read (first time printing). This is a printer that does not need refillable ink. I bought a 2nd one and when I printed my first label, same thing happened. So now I'm going to return this one and go with another brand. ... show more

  • Works as expected
Color: Grey
Loading the paper was a little odd because the cord is short but it works well. Print is lighter than I would like. Easy to set up and use.

  • Mac + ebay, Poshmark, mercari, pirateship
Color: Black
Update— After printing about 50 labels from eBay, Poshmark, pirateship, Amazon returns and mercari prepaid labels I found an issue and will remove a star. Mercari prepaid labels and Amazon return labels need to be manually cropped. When cropped for a 4x6 and saved as a jpg there is no way to print it properly. The prints always come out blurry no matter what adjustments. The standard settings the work on other platforms can’t be used and burned though 20 labels trying to tweak settings to print a cropped image and it just won’t work. —Running on a newer Mac it has some slight issues coming out of the box. Wouldn’t print dark enough. Adjusted some of the print settings and saved it. Seems to have fixed it and have printed about 15 labels with only 1 issue (cropped it in half for 2 label. Not sure why). Default settings were way too light. I’m doing around 13 on the darkeness setting and it’s good now. ... show more

  • Good printer, but USB ONLY. Read this if you are using Apple Mac. Not quite 5-stars IMO
Color: Black
Looked at this printer as it came-up on Amazon as a #1 product. Did a quick scan of the specs, saw mostly 5-star reviews, so I ordered it. Was surprised when it arrived to see that it was USB-only with no support for Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connectivity. NOTE: neither the SP410 or the SP420 support wireless technologies. Not a showstopper, but given the claim of Apple Mac support, the USB Type-A cable is a non-starter. You will need a legacy USB hub, a Type-C replacement cable or an adapter that supports the legacy Type-A connector. I recommend Syntech USB C to USB A adapter, but others are available of course: https://www.amazon.com/Syntech-Adapter-Thunderbolt-Compatible-MacBook/dp/B07CVX3516/ Most of the product pictures do not show the back of the printer. The 360-view on the product page does, but shows a solid back cover. I thought this actually pulled-out from the printer and created a label tray, or that roll-style labels loaded directly into the printer itself (like the model SP420). Neither are accurate. Labels load from the rear through a feed slot (please update your 360-view!) One of the videos actually does show this, but not anywhere else - would recommend a product photo showing the back of the printer be added as well. Once it was installed, it worked fairly well. The Apple drivers could use some updating as I tested printing the same labels from both Windows & Apple Mac systems, and the Mac consistently ran over onto a second label and needed to be resized to print properly. Once set, however, the printer hums along and prints quickly. I would like to see a little bit darker printing, but admit this could be the result of the labels we are using. Amazon is recommending bundles with this printer, but none of them include a label stand/holder. Do yourself a favor and order one, it makes the overall setup and operation much cleaner. Alternatively, you can order the SP420 which DOES hold the label roll internally, but as of this writing, that model has a lower product rating and is more expensive. ... show more

  • Excellent Product
Color: Black
If doing a lot of reselling and packaging of goods, then this printer is a must have. It is very efficient, perfect labels, and really streamlines the process of labeling boxes. This works perfect with Ebay. I would buy the product again.

  • Surprisingly Great
Color: Black
Used this for my small business while it was still blooming. Great shipping label machine. Haven’t used it since my business went out of business for a while.

  • Saves on ink
Color: Black
I sell on Ebay and I was using an inkjet printing on half letter Labels. It worked ok but I had to replace the ink cartridges often and that was expensive. I did some research and decided on this thermal printer. I like that I don't have to replace ink cartridges. Another perk is that the labels don't have to be trimmed down to fit smaller packages. This printer prints labels very quickly. The one problem I ran into was setting up the labels in Windows 10 to print correctly. Luckily I found the correct procedures to fit the printout to the labels. All in all I am happy with this printer. It works well on 4x6 labels and the print doesn't have to dry before I can attach it on the package for shipping ... show more
