I live with three roommates who don't share groceries, so the fridge and freezer are always pretty full (the freezer especially, since most of us live off convenience foods). So obviously no room for a traditional ice tray. I saw a YouTuber review a product similar to this and knew it would be perfect for my situation. I kinda balked at the price ($20? for an ice maker?) but I paid the ADHD tax anyway. The cubes are by no means nice-looking, but I'm just excited to have ice! Pros (ranked in order of importance to me): -it doesn't have to be situated a certain way in the freezer for it to work -it's self-contained, so you don't have to worry about dropping cubes while you're breaking them up, or needing a little ice bucket -you don't have to touch the cubes, you can just pour them out of the container -taking it apart for cleaning is pretty easy -it's fairly sturdy Cons (ranked in order of importance to me): -it's not dishwasher safe -the process of breaking up the cubes is kinda noisy (you have to to smack it against the counter with the heel of your hand several times) -it doesn't make a lot of cubes at once, I think it's 18 -the cubes are kinda small (probably .75in) and therefore melt really quickly in room-temperature drinks -the cubes don't come out uniformly Overall, kinda pricey but the convenience is worth it.

Pros: Freezes quickly, easy to fill, produces hard ice Cons: Cleaning, can sometimes be difficult to empty completely Cleaning is not going to be easy. You'll need a bottle brush if you want to give it a good deep clean. Ours never sits empty long. We keep a batch of ice continuously frozen in this try. You could use this tray to make flavored ice if you wanted to, but again be cautious of the cleaning issue. Sometimes you have to shake quite aggressively to empty all the way out.

These Icebreaker Pops are so easy to use. When the easy instructions are followed making ice cubes couldn’t be easier. Once I fill the Icebreaker Pop with water or my choice of juice I place it in the freezer (vertical position). Spilled water is no longer a problem as the liquid is sealed tight inside the container. I don’t have to mop any water like I use to when using open ice trays. The water seems to freeze faster as well. I use my Icebreaker Pop(s) everyday and enjoy my beverages with ice cubes 🧊 more often. All one needs to do is follow the simple instructions and put the Icebreaker Pop to work. I ❤️ this product!

Using the SIMPLE included Instructions is Key to your success and Satisfaction... Tap water is undrinkable where we live so our automatic refrigerator ice maker and water tap (even with maintained replaceable filters) is useless. These sealed multi-use Ice Trays / Ice Packs are my Go-To alternative and are the perfect compact size to fill your 30 Oz. Yeti Tumbler with just the right amount of ice to keep you cool and Hydrated ALL DAY! Check out the Pictures with this Review... Only fill up to the MAX LINE to accomodate ice expansion. Exceeding the max line makes it very difficult to loosen and pour out ice cubes. Apply signicant pressure to both sides of the ice pack before removing the top rubber seal and pulling the side handles to full open. Give it a good shake and then shake out your desired number of cubes into your tumbler. These also work great as sealed ice packs for your cooler on a hot day... 😎

These are not the easiest thing to use, but they work well and the cube shape is pleasing. They black one are easy to full, but the yellow one is hard to use because you it's not opaque enough to see the waterline

I have 3 of this. Works great especially with no direct handling of ice. The only complaint I have is that water filling & pressing the container together have to be just right. Otherwise ice will not dispense.

Another kind of ice maker uses lots of water in order to thaw and extract the ice cubes. Pulling the sides apart of this icebreaker is a form of exercise. Shaking vigorously to break the cubes apart is another form of exercise.
