I always have a fancy for a violin. But I never had one and don’t even know how to start tuning when I bought this one. It is package very well . It sounds good and worked perfectly when I learned how to play following a YouTube video. It has everything you need to learn. The sound quality is really good for a cheap violin. I think I can learn on it but you defiantly get what you pay for. The best thing about it is the case. You can defiantly tell when you hold it that it’s cheaper materials so it doesn’t have the best sound. The bow is ok. And for some reason the e string just won’t tune! But overall for the purchase price and purpose you can’t beat it.

I'm a musician, but have played around on violins for 30 years as an amateur. My violin is antique, and its structure is now compromised, so I decided to order the Poseidon Violin as a replacement. The violin itself looks nice. There's some assembly, but it's easy. The instructions are lacking, so I do recommend finding videos online to instruct you in your learning process. While not a high quality violin, it works well for a beginner or an amateur like myself to simply play around on it. I do like that it comes with a case and all of the extra goodies. Overall, I think this is a nice violin for beginners to learn prior to upgrading to a higher quality.

I have played woodwind instruments since junior high school and have always been intrigued by classical sting instruments. I figured I’d take a chance with this to get a feel for it and decide if I want to spend the money on a more quality product. This is a beginners instrument as stated, and it is good for that purpose. As with any new endeavor, there is a learning curve and the included literature is a bit lacking for that task. Having said that, there isn’t much you can’t find instructions/tutorials for on the web these days. On the positive side, this piece looks nice and includes just about everything needed to begin your journey as a violinist.
