I find this the hand used appliance I have purchased, ever! Its mind numbingly simple to use. We had bottled water (our well water is suspect) and it makes ice. As the ice in the tray melts it is recycled to the Reservoir. Are you in it except roughly 2 1/2 bottles of freshwater (16 oz.) at a time. Today the unit has been flawless. I have only two negative, call in critical not really negative, comments on the unit. On the positive side, one either can make a large cubes of ice or small cubes of ice. The cubes resemble small little symbols with very thick walls. We prefer the large ice but the small ice works great. It is also quick. I find it amazing how fast the bin fills with ice. It seems always to be there when we need it. Now for my only critical comments about the unit. As a unit makes ice it dumps the ice into a small bin. Problematic is that the ice occasionally hangs up on the shelf between the freezing and the ice bin. When this occurs the unit shuts down until you tap the flap pushing ice into the bin. I will qualify this statement by saying I’ve never allowed the unit to sit long enough for all ice to melt completely. I have no idea if it will start again on its own. The instructions say it well but I have yet to observe this. My second comment concerns unit operation when it runs out of water. It does not automatically start making ice upon refill. We must tap the on off button, restarting the unit, before ice continues. I’m not bothered by the above two issues in either way. Likely user error. That and we regularly interact with the unit so these issues are at best, occasional. Suffice it to say, I love this little device. The best value for my money in a long time.

We love this ice maker! We have been ice rationing ice from our fridge ice maker for some time. It came quicker than estimated, and the packaging was very secure. I have attached pictures of the packaging. There are pieces of tape on the inside to make sure all the moving parts are secure for shipping. You have to reach down inside to get one of them out. Controls are easy to understand. The ice maker comes with a easy to understand instruction manual. The functionality is easy enough. STEP 1 - Fill the reservoir up with water to the MAX line, and plug it in. STEP 2 - Turn on by pressing the ON/OFF button, and select ice size. Wait a tiny bit and enjoy! It does not take too much time to make the ice, and the maker will shuts itself off when the ice tray is full. So no worries about watching over it constantly or overflowing ice when you get home! It does not keep the ice frozen once it shuts off, so you can remove the finished ice and store/use it, or let it melt (it drips back down into the water reservoir) and when you turn it back on again it will remake the ice. There are two sizes of ice, small and large. The attached pictures are of the small ice. The ice is great! We have been running it almost constantly since we got it, and it hasn't let us down! The machine requires some room around it for proper air flow, but is not noisy. It makes ice very quickly. And you can hear when the ice drops, if that is important to you. So grateful! Buy this one!

I have had this product 3 months and loved the t at first. Now it is making a horrible noise that appears to be the circulating pump. I can find no manufacturing information. It did not have a users manual. There is nothing on the original box or machine itself. I have thoroughly cleaned it and tried several things I found on line. Nothing works. So if you want to spend $50 a month for ice, go ahead and buy it. But it should be labeled as disposable ice maker.

The media could not be loaded. Firstly it is does not self clean. That was very disappointing because that was the deciding factor that made me purchase this ice maker in the first ppace. Second day of use. The "add water " indicator light came on. I added water and the "add water" light remained on and the machine would not make ice. Eventually the light did go off and the machine started making ice again. Not sure why it took the machine so long to realize it wasn't out of water. So false advertisement, and a very delayed water sensor is the reason I gave one star. Edit. Due to the level of care from their customer service and the lengths they went to, to ensure my satisfaction I changed my stars. One of the best customer service experiences ever.

I love how fast this machine works. The ice tastes great, comes out crystal clear, and the cubes are small enough to crunch. I use distilled water in my machine because the water here is very hard, tastes terrible, and you can see "stuff" floating in it. My only complaint is that there doesn't seem to be much consistency in the size of the ice cubes. I keep the machine set to small cubes the I always seem to get a mix of small and large. It's still a great machine, it work great and I wouldn't give it up.

Bought this after struggling constantly with our piece of crap Samsung fridge icemaker. Makes ice so quickly it’s crazy. Even with a lot of company, it kept up the pace.
