I love how quickly the machine produces ice. I bought this for my classroom when my district refused to fix our ice machine. For the price I paid, this is a great little machine! The ONLY reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because it is somewhat loud. I would compare the sound to that of a mini-fridge. So far it has been easy to maintain, keep clean, and it is nice having ice available for drinks and scrapes and such. Overall a great product for the price point.

The media could not be loaded. So I do really like this ice maker! It has two size options. It is very user friendly! The only reason I gave it 4 stars was that it was super wobbly on my counter straight out of the box which I later discovered was because there was a broken bracket on the bottom which caused a portion of the bottom plate that holds one of the legs to be screwed in tighter than the other sections causing it to not be level with the other 3 legs. This being said it does not effect the functionality of the ice maker itself. Also other than the little wobble the quality of the plastic used for the machine seems good. All in all I’m happy with it!

Very fast production. Would be ideal in a small office setting. Wish it had a larger holding tray for post production before it turns off. Im needing about 10 lbs of ice each evening and with my freezer and this im reaching it. But this type (nothing wrong w the model) needs attention about every hour and a half. Producing about 1-2 lbs of ice im guessing in about 1-2 hrs. Noisier than i was expecting but not outrageous.

I bought this to make ice since our ice maker quit. It does not keep the ice frozen even long enough for the basket to fill. It melts and makes the ice all stick together when trying to freeze the ice in freezer. As far as making the ice, it works fine.

I love this icemaker. My refrigerator does not have an icemaker because I did not want the extra expense and hassle. It is always the first thing to malfunction. The Caynel portable icemaker was just what I needed. It is great to be able to make all the cubes I need in 1 1/2 hours. It is quiet and efficient. I will get a lot of use out of this.
