Purchased for my son’s dorm (he also had knee surgery). Due to him not being mobile, this ice maker came in clutch! Dual purposes because after he healed, he used it as an ice maker in his dorm and no complaints. In fact, I was going to keep it while having guests over, but he NEEDS it. This machine was a big disappointment as I had to return it twice. It makes ice the first time you plug it in but then it stopped completely. I was very disappointed as it’s a great size for the counter. I do not recommend buying this. Great disappointment.
