Should I Buy It?

If you are willing to take a risk or have the technical know-how to troubleshoot potential issues, the system seems to offer a good performance for gaming when working correctly. It might be prudent to consider alternatives or ensure there is a robust return policy before purchasing.

  • Amazing, works perfect, everything it was put out to be.
I got this computer for Christmas and it is absolutely amazing! It met my expectations and runs perfectly fine. Customer service is also great. I have played many different games ranging from Apex to warzone and it all runs amazing with 100+ fps. What you pay for this computer is what you get, and what I got was amazing. ... show more

  • ****updated***** Dead on arrival. Listen to the reviews...
Against all of the reviews and my own intuition I purchased two of these units and wished for the best... Now I am stuck with a nightmare return of this crap and being that these were gifts, the unfortunate letdown of crap products to people I care about. -------------------------------------------------------------- The issue is the GPU (like many other reviews say). It was dead on arrival (motherboard VGA light on as well) and I verified by swapping the dead unit into a known good board/PC (didn't work, no surprise) and a good working GPU into the unit I bought (worked fine and no VGA light). I don't know if the issue is crap quality control, crap products or crap luck but I would avoid this and other products from this company as they obviously don't change their business model to accommodate repeated bad reviews. Also, to top it off I bought two units the same day. Each unit came with a different mother board??? and WIFI cards. The unit that had the lower tier motherboard had a missing bottom vent filter and the keyboard had manufacturing defects (see pics). So yeah, buy at your own risk. -------------------------------------------------------------- UPDATED Now 1 year into ownership (after returning and replacing) and the HD is now bad. Many other reviews of the HD (anada swordfish 1tb) going bad in 1 year? MAYBE BY DESIGN? ... show more

  • Very fast and quiet
So I got this system in and have had no issues with it at all. Great packaging, though be careful taking taking the Styrofoam out so that you don't bump your video card. I have been running Elden Ring and Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous for two days without a reboot. No lag and amazingly no noise. Extremely quick and quiet. Didn't really review the tech support because I haven't had to call or E-Mail them. ... show more

  • Everything on this PC that was proprietary has broken
Unfortunately, I needed to purchase a new PC during the GPU shortage. Being unable to source a GPU, I had to resort to a pre-built. If you are looking to purchase a pre-built I would definitely recommend that you look elsewhere. Timeline since my purchase. Day 1: Trashed the mouse and keyboard that came with this. I have never felt a keyboard that felt so mushy. They just passed you e-waste. I wish they didn't include these and just gave you a discount of a $1. Honestly, I wouldn't even pay $1 for these. 5 months: Start hearing noises from inside the case. Case fans are clean but you can hear a grinding noise from the rear exhaust (had to replace). Also the AIO starts acting up. 6 months: AIO dies (replaced), front intake fans start making noise even though they are clean. 7 months: Front intake noise gets louder and needed replacement. The ONLY ibuypower item left in this build is the case. But, I'm changing that as well, judging by the quality of their other products, you never know when it's just going to fall apart. ... show more

  • Few issues with the PC
So I purchased this because I really have no time to build PC's anymore, but as soon as I got it, I had to completely reload Windows due to it not starting at all. I turned on the PC and it immediately went into disk repair, but when I reloaded windows it works great. As far as fan noise, it is VERY loud, fan speeds aren't even high, it's just like a white noise machine. Not sure why. FPS average on low settings with the games I play (12700KF and 3070TI) Valorant - 350-400FPS Overwatch 2: 200-300FPS Call of Duty Warzone: 140FPS Display to HDMI's do NOT work on this GPU. I am currently waiting on an HDMI 2.0 cable to connect my 3rd monitor. ... show more

  • Bad SSD... Not Very Satisfied Tech Support
My SSD went out after a little over 5 months of getting my computer. Althoug it was still under warranty, I had to pay $54 upfront to have a new one sent to me and still have to shipping cost to send the bad one back before I can get my $54 back.. The New one came blank on a Friday. Tech Support made it sound simple to download the files back but it not unless you know something about rebuilding computers. And I do not so I ended paying another $80 to Another Computer Tech that came to my house and assisted me in getting my computer back going. The only other option they offered was sending in to them in California to repair and I would be responsible for shipping cost and any shipping damage. I was not doing after paying as much as I did for the computer already. Then I had to pay another $15 to ship the bad SSD back.... not happy at all with Customer Support. I should have read the Reviews before purchasing... ... show more

  • They sell a PC with a used SSD that failed after 6 months
I paid an absurd amount of money for a prebuilt, assuming that they would do the work necessary and provide adequate components for a device costing over $2,000. SSD completely failed, went into Read Only mode, and now the motherboard refuses to install a new SSD, because the genius team at iBuyPower built a PC with 1 SSD for everything including OS. Now it cannot be cloned or transferred & all it would take it having a HDD as well, ya know, like 99.9% of PCs. Have no help from any tech support, and now I am stuck with just the parts to the PC after 6 months. Highly suggest NEVER buying from this company. UPDATE TO REVIEW: The company is making me send back the PC for them to repair. They did cover shipping costs & are going to cover the cost of the new Motherboard they "think" I might need. Happy to see this, but it did take 134 minutes of holding to get this done. Extremely long wait times. Revised to 2 stars for now. ... show more
