  • Not as bad as expected Not as bad as expected
Set name: Ryzen 5 5600G | RX 6600XT
I bought this PC on sale because I thought it was a good deal but telling from reviews I saw it seemed like it died easily and had power supply issues. I had this PC for a couple weeks now and I've had no problems. The Ryzen 5 with RX 6600XT combo gave me the ability to play games like Halo Infinite and Call of Duty Vanguard at high settings at high framerates and was fast enough to do any task with no problem even when I'm not gaming. I always knew iBUYPOWER was a quality brand, but this being my first PC from them, I was very surprised. Thank you iBUYPOWER for giving me my first high end gaming PC experience ... show more

  • Sim Racing Beast
Set name: Ryzen 5 5600G | RX 6600XT
It was time to say goodbye to PlayStation (consoles in general) as I hate limitations when it comes to tech, gaming and software. I took my time and studied gaming PC's for over a month before making a decision. I've been in sim racing since the beginning of the pandemic with some heavy equipments. There are 6 USB cables connected to this tower just for my sim racing stuff and let me tell you...the combo between the motherboard and RX 6600 TX is absolutely fabtastic.. I've been running about 5 racing titles on a 4K TV (Sony XBR65X900F) @ 3840 x 2160 on fairly mid to high settings and I'm blown away by how this PC can handle every single title for hours of playing. No overheating or any nasty stuff. The winning card on this setup is the GPU. RX 6600 TX delivers beautiful picture with zero lag. ibuypower has delivered a good looking, powerful PC at an amazing price (considering the pandemic stuff shortage) and I personally feel amazing about this purchase. Both thumbs up for me ... show more

  • Died After Two Weeks??
Set name: Ryzen 5 5600G | RX 6600XT
EDIT: Getting through to tech support was a total hassle. They have limited weekday hours which coincide exactly with my workday. I tried everything I could (I hold an A+ cert so I know at least a little bit about hardware and assembly) but there was no bringing this thing back to life. I'm guessing it's either a bad power supply or there's a short on the board. Either way, a rig at this price point should work out of the box. Spent a little bit more on another pre-built from CyberpowerPC via Newegg, and it works like a dream. Lesson learned. No specialty computers from Amazon ever again. INITIAL REVIEW: I've had this rig for two weeks and it just died on me. Haven't even gamed on this machine yet. It croaked while I was using MS Word. Tried draining power, won't even boot. Fan clicks for a second, RBG flashes for a second, then nothing. iBuyPower had better come through on that tech support or this $1500 boat anchor is getting returned. ... show more

  • Out of the box it works great.
Set name: Ryzen 5 5600G | RX 6600XT
I thought about building my own system again, but it's really not worth it if I could buy this unit at this price. It works very well for the games I play without me having to spend a ton of cash. Everything worked well right out the box, so I can't comment on their product support. So far so good, it was a good purchase. ... show more

  • Great first PC!
Set name: Ryzen 5 5600G | RX 6600XT
I’ve had this PC for about 3 years now. It was my first gaming PC and it’s truly grown with me. I haven’t added too much other than more RAM but I’m now looking at upgrading the processor and graphics card but only because I plan on doing more with it. I use it for gaming, school, work and just for fun and it’s held up all this time! ... show more

  • That’s awesome
Set name: Ryzen 5 5600G | RX 6600XT
Client states when playing Halo Wars and City Skylines the games will crash and sometimes the computer will also shut down. Windows OS and Drivers updated. FACE-all hw passed. GPs Removed. Optimized via Startup MGR and Temp Cleaner. Revo-No RAS found. SFC and DISM Scans-all good. Storage sense enabled. Tested a couple games through steam-no crash. CX was advised at check-in that Halo Wars and City Skylines servers are going to be shutting down and discontinued within the next month thats why he was having the crashing issue with those 2 particular games. Cx also has a slot on motherbaord for NVME SSD, recommend cx add storage of at least 1TB or more for gaming especially and better performance of the unit. Restore point created. CD Agent Notes at Check-In: Verified the device does power and boot. Client showed video of him playing then crashing. Checking in the device for diagnostics to see if there is any hardware issues or software. Did check Halo Wars servers were shut down and City Skylines will be shutting down in May of 2023.- Agent Koby|ski 199560 ... show more

  • Great system and build!
Set name: Ryzen 5 5600G | RX 6600XT
I recently purchased a pre-built gaming PC and I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. The computer arrived quickly and was packaged securely. The system booted up smoothly and I had no issues with setting up the software. The graphics on this PC are top-notch and I have been able to run all of my favorite games at maximum settings without any lag or stuttering. The processor is also very fast and allows for seamless multitasking. Overall, I am extremely happy with my purchase and would highly recommend this pre-built gaming PC to anyone in the market for a new system. ... show more

  • So far, Good beginner PC. Will update when I have more time with it. (Update 1)
Set name: Ryzen 5 5600G | RX 6600XT
UPDATE 1: So I've had the PC for about 3 weeks and so far it's been pretty good. On the side of gaming, I've gotten to play some pretty intensive games like Ark and I was able to get consistent 60fps with High to Max settings which I can also get with most other games. So those looking for a rig that you want to use for gaming can be pretty rest assured. Now, onto the star rating. I said I would change it when I updated it but I've had a serious issue with this PC. I'm not sure if it's just Windows being wonky after I downgraded to Windows 10 or the GPU is faulty but I've been consistently having issues with Windows not reading the GPU drivers, meaning the GPU wouldn't work until I updated my drivers or had to roll it back after Windows wouldn't read the updated drivers. This usually happened when my screen went to sleep or the PC itself did, meaning the display wouldn't return unless I powered off the PC. So potential buyers beware. I'll update once again when I've had the PC for longer. INITIAL REVIEW: I got my PC on Wednesday and so far I've had no problems with it. That is the reason I gave the review 3 stars. When I have more time with the PC I'll come back to change the score accordingly. As for the PC itself , it was very easy to set up. Before I turned it on I opened it up to install an extra HDD, 2 sticks of 8 GB ram, and a SSD. While the ram installation was easy enough the hard drives proved a little more tricky. First, I didn't have any of the screws used to secure the hard drives available since this is my first desktop and thre computer nor the hard drives came with screws so keep this in mind if you plan on installing additional space. Thankfully, I had an old external HDD that had 4 screws I could use to secure the drives to the computer. Second, the wiring for the power cables to connect the drives was seriously messy, otherwise there weren't any major issues with the installation after that. When I turned the PC on I had decided to revert my windows version back to Windows 10 (which you can do for free) so I'm not aware of any complications that may come from the computer running Windows 11. Since I've only had the PC for so little time, I haven't gotten the chance to really test out the computer's ability to run games. However, I was able to play a game that my old gaming laptop could only run on medium settings at best/lowest settings to get a consistent frame rate, at maximum settings with a consistent 120fps(I limited the frames on this game so it could be higher). The mouse and keyboard that came with the computer are nice enough I suppose, to me however, the keys on the keyboard feel a little stiff but that may be due to little use, otherwise this is just how I feel about it. Overall, the PC works. As far as I know it will perform well with most games but I have yet to do any testing on that front so I will update this review later. ... show more
