I used this incubator 1 time recently and it did very well I hatched 10 of 12 Black Copper Maran eggs. I had a small hygrometer inside and it registered a lower temperature than the incubator unit itself so I figured it was hotter up top and adjusted accordingly to hold 99.5 egg level temp. I’m currently incubating another 12, I’m hoping for similar results!

I am extremely impressed with this egg incubator! We successfully hatched 20 chicks, and the entire process was much easier than I expected. The incubator was simple to set up and operate, making it a great option even if you do not have a lot of experience with incubating eggs. One of my favorite features is how consistently it maintained the temperature. It stayed right at the temperature we needed throughout the incubation process, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. The automatic temperature and humidity control made it much easier because I did not constantly have to adjust everything manually. The automatic egg turning is another huge convenience. It saved us the hassle of having to remember to turn the eggs ourselves, and I loved being able to check on the eggs through the clear 360 degree view. The built in egg candler was also incredibly helpful for monitoring the eggs along the way without having to purchase a separate candler. The 26 egg capacity was perfect for our needs, and having 20 chicks successfully hatch was an amazing experience. Everything worked smoothly, and the incubator made the whole process feel manageable instead of complicated. Overall, this is an excellent incubator that is easy to use, maintains consistent temperatures, and has some really convenient automatic features. We had a fantastic hatch rate with ours and successfully welcomed 20 chicks.

I’ve been dreaming of incubating my own chicks ever since I got chickens, and now that I’m up to nine hens, that dream feels closer than ever. The chick I thought would be a rooster ended up being another hen, so I still don’t have fertilized eggs to work with, but this incubator makes me feel fully prepared for when the time finally comes. For now, I tested it using an unfertilized lavender Marans egg, and based on those tests, I’m pretty happy with what I received. When I’m able to use this with fertilized eggs, I’ll update my review if anything changes. One very important note: do not throw away the styrofoam packaging. It looks like ordinary packing material, but it’s actually a functional accessory. When temperatures are too cool for the incubator to maintain the ideal 100 degrees Fahrenheit, the fitted styrofoam acts as insulation to help stabilize the internal temperature. Many incubators rely on this, and this one is no exception. Setup was easy. I chose the correct egg tray size (the large tray for chicken eggs), installed the gear (a single gear you simply slip onto a post), added water, powered it on, double‑checked the settings, and let it run. The default settings appear to be perfect for chicken eggs. The power cord is conveniently long, and the turning gears rotated multiple times without any issues. You fill the incubator through a small side door. It got a little messy a few times because I'm a bad pourer and the little door that opens to the water reservoir can overfill if you start dumping a big cup of water into it, but nothing major. The water reservoir and each individual section look like they’ll be very easy to clean after a full incubation cycle. I did have trouble telling whether the water was pumping correctly, even after several tests and verbally telling DanDan to run the water. I think its more user error on my part, but I didn't see a lot of water being pumped. That said, the humidity remained pretty good. The menu buttons are fairly intuitive overall, except for the water test button, which I’m still not sure I ever figured out how to get working. This incubator has automatic humidity control, which is a feature many others don’t include. The top never felt dangerously hot while running, and I didn’t see any leakage under the automatic water supply base when left untouched. The built in candler light works, though I didn’t have a fertilized egg to test it with. The fan and rollers are very quiet; the loudest sounds come from the button beeps or the alarm. If the lid is opened too long, an alarm sounds, and you can clear it by pressing any button. The incubator recovers its temperature pretty quickly afterward, which is reassuring. The incubator feels stable on a table and doesn’t wobble or shift. The plastic housing feels thick, premium, and durable, but still lightweight enough to move or handle easily. And then there’s the voice activation. You wake it up by saying “Hello DanDan,” and it responds in a cute, slightly quirky voice. Ask it how it’s feeling, and it will tell you how long it’s been running, the temperature, and the humidity. There are lots of voice commands for this thing. It’s funny and a little weird that the incubator is always listening, and I haven’t found any way to disable the voice activation. Once you say “Hello DanDan,” it’s listening until it times out. At least it’s not connected to the internet. Overall, this incubator feels high‑quality right out of the box. It holds a good number of eggs, is easy to use, and is very beginner‑friendly. Aside from adding water and keeping an eye on temperature and humidity, it’s mostly a set‑and‑forget system. For the price, it’s a solid value. I’m happy with it and look forward to using it properly once I have fertilized eggs. I can recommend this incubator.

This incubator is awesome! I am new to ducks so I was very overwhelmed with the idea of hatching my own eggs after reading how complicated it can be; humidity, temperature, turning, lock down, etc. I like that this has the ability to incubate both chicken duck sized eggs as well as smaller quail eggs. definitely nice to be able to use one incubator for all rather than needing multiple. I have not had a chance to use this incubator yet so do not know the hatch rate; however this seems like it will make the process very easy and the features work great, and I have no concerns that this will give me high success. I have eggs on order so waiting for those to arrive to actually try this out! I will say, it is so high tech and the commands are overkill for me personally, I do not plan to use that; but otherwise I am excited for the ability to hatch my duckies without the stress. the capacity is much higher than I need at this time, though I personally like having more space available. Everyone knows how chicken math works, better more space than less as I am sure I will use it in the future :)

We raise a couple batches of chicks in the spring partly to replace any aging hens or cull any breed roosters that need culling. This will be my third incubator and so far this one is definitely a keeper. While the structure is plastic it has a much sturdier feel to it. I tested with an independent thermometer and hydo meter and all readings were well within any tolerance I would expect. What wasn't apparent to me from the listing and details is that there are actually two egg trays. One for 26 regular chicken eggs and one for 56 banty or quail eggs. While I'm not typically impressed with bells and whistles this incubator has one that's kind of fun. That's the voice activation. Seems to work well enough. The configuration of this unit is a bit different in that the water is added directly into a pull out door in the base. Sorta difficult to see water level so be aware of where it sits. The mechanical portion is all located in the head of the unit. It can easily be accessed by a twist of the handle. Be aware that when you put it back in you need to be sure and twist clockwise until it clicks. It has finger grips in the base but once you have it located I wouldn't be carrying it to a different location. All in all this is definitely a more upscale incubator and it's price reflects that. In my opinion you get what you pay for. If you want a much less expensive unit, you can get them but you won't get the level of quality that you get with this one.

This is the worst. Does NOT hold temperature. I adjusted until I got my thermometer I put inside reading 99.5, and everyday the temp would go nuts. The humidity cannot be set. The speaker is raspy and junky, like a kids toy from the 90’s. 2 stars for the laugh it gave with the crazy songs.
