Work great on the Mikro bass. That model has a much shorter scale than most basses--even shorter than many "short-scale" basses. So I am glad to have strings specifically designed to fit on the Mikro. They sound good, and have consistent tone. I find them easy to play.

Dont be dumb like me and order the wrong strings! These are for a shorter micro bass and therefor too short for my regular sized bass. Be smart. Unlike me

    • Good strings, but need a heavier B string

These are decent strings but they really need to include a 135 gauge B string instead of 130, or at least cut the B string a bit shorter, because the B string on the Ibanez Mikro gsrm25 is floppy. They're half the price of DR short scale strings though, which is good.

When I originally got my Mikro bass, the strings that came on it were like "slinky strings", which are ok if you WANT to bend your notes, but otherwise a giant pain in the butt. These strings are PERFECT, great sound quality, sturdy, a tad bit pricey if you ask me, but worth every penny. Definitely my new "go to" string replacements. ... show more

Have to return... the taper or where the second winding starts was a inch short of getting to the nut...( Yes these are being used on a 2018 Ibanez Mikro bass)... ...So on the first fret it was two different sizes... un-Acceptable !!!! Super fast shipping. Our Mikro is a 4 string Bass, but for some reason the 5 string set from these guys was cheaper. No worries -- the E, A, D, G are the exact same strings... they fit, feel, sound, great.
