This hat is perfect for going outdoors. My kid hates wearing anything on his head but he'll tolerate this one for a few hours. It's nice and lightweight and the brim is large so covers the back of his neck well while providing some shade to his face. I also like how cute it is on him, floppy and large. There is also a pull string at the base of the hat above the brim, you can tighten it for a better fit. My 2yr old son has a large head so the size 2-4 fits well for now.. I will definitely buy a bigger size when he needs one.

I read a lot of reviews before purchasing these and I agree with them! Those hats are great, I bought 1 grey and 1 white for my B/G twins size 0-6 months. They are about 3 months old and 12/10 pounds when I bought them. The hats for well they are not too big and we are using the cord to adjust them to fit. I love that they tie on so they are secure and I don't see any type of choking hazard with these unless you leave a baby un-attended with the hat on, which I never would. The hats do well at blocking the sun and they don't seem to mind them at all. Thy are not to heavy when they get wet and dry very quickly in the sun of you are out at the pool! I will be buying the next size up when needed, but there is plenty of room to grow for now.

Great for babies that love to take hats off!

I bought this hat for my 6 month old son and it's perfect for what we need! The wide brim looks adorable but keeps the sun out of his face for swimming, hiking, and going for walks. There is also an adjustable string/tie on the back that let's us customize it to his head size, which all other hats I looked at lacked. The string for tying under his chin is another plus as he can't take it off while we're busy! I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone.

Lots of compliments
Great hat. Lots of other parents have asked me where I got it. Just wish the straps were velcro instead of ties; it's tough to get it tied onto a squirming one-year-old. But once it's on, it stays on, despite his pulling at it. It does slip back a bit, which then exposes his face to the sun, but I think that would be the case with any hat that is being yanked at. Lots of back of the neck coverage, which is great. The 6-12 month size is a perfect fit, with some give for growth in the partially elasticized band. My son is 13 months, but his head is 95th percentile, if that tells you anything.

I purchased this for my seventeen month old since we live in Florida and are outside in the sun a lot. I had issues with finding a hat with a tie that would fit her head. This hat is wonderful, i love that it has the drawstring to adjust the size on her head and would love to purchase it in a couple more colors since I feel like this could fit her for awhile. It has been to the beach and on the boat and gotten sunscreen on it and still looks good

Baby's Nemesis

Have had this hat for about a week. My 1 year old hates it. Why 5 stars? Because I love it and this is my rating, not my baby's. The strap is long enough to secure the hat on his head. Despite random futile pulls, my son could not get this off of his head! The strap is not velcro which he would easily have pulled off of his head. Love that. The hat's brim is large and covers his head from the sun. It also folds upward when the sun is not directly in his face (we'll see if this folding up feature lasts once the hat gets more wear). There is also a drawstring to change the size of the hat around his head - this also keeps it on his head better. So far, this was what I was looking for.

My son is on the fairer side, and is very light-sensitive. So, we wanted a quality hat to help keep the bright sun off his face. Personally, I am not a fan of the goofier-looking hats, but safety comes first. My son's head is quite large for his age, so the hat is a little fitted- but it is not too small. It is one of the only hats he's ever tolerated, and really seems to make his outdoor experience more pleasurable. We will definitely be using this for as long as it fits!

I initially bought my 16 month old daughter the 9-18 month size, however it ended up being too small so I bought the 2-4T size which, and when using the cinching feature (genius!!) it fits perfectly! Will definitely last her this summer, and next. And then will work for my son when it fits him! Durable, soft, and cute. Would definitely recommend!
