    • Great upgrade from the V8F
The media could not be loaded. I have owned an InMotion V8F for a few years now and logged a little over 800 miles on it. I finally decided to upgrade to the V12. Initially, the doubled weight made this wheel very hard to get used to. I was encountering wobbling I had never experienced, and the turning felt quite different. I was beginning to worry if it was too much wheel for me despite being an EUC rider for years. I ended up setting my pedals to the lowest position and reducing the top speed to 22 mph (same as V8F). I rode it that way for a while until I got used to it, and then uncapped the speed limit. Now I'm regularly hitting 30 mph and feeling pretty comfortable on it. The range on this wheel is spectacular and I feel confident with the power it can output. It's also a great tool to use when taking my husky on a run, as she wants to go faster than I can go without the help of my V12. If you're still on the fence about upgrading, I highly recommend it.     • Not easy to do, but addictive once learned.
The media could not be loaded. I bought this thing because I was dead set on getting a one wheel, but I heard a lot of safety complaints. I then opened up my spectrum and found the EUCs and found them fascinating. I don't recommend this model for learners, as I had to look up YouTube videos on how to ride them because I couldn't make it 2 feet nor stay up on it for more than 2 seconds. I finally had a decent day to spend on it outside and it just clicked in my mind. I then started flying up and down the street screaming in triumph. I have since reached 37mph and find myself addicted to it and even consider getting a second one to use while the first one is charging. The adrenaline is awesome and I can't wait until I can afford the v13. The only drawback for the time being is the lack of variety of accessories and no protective covers. ... show more

I had to return mine but the company was super helpful with that and the wheel its self is epic! Be wary though it is extremely heavy that made it difficult to work it for sure. ALSO be very aware of your cities laws on these things, in Philly it is illegal to ride these anywhere except bike lanes and side walks ... show more

This is just my experience on purchasing the wheel. Just know that this is a possibility on what can happen if you buy this wheel. I took the wheel out of the box and powered it on the first thing I hear is please repair and the kick stand is not assembled it’s missing. There were a couple wrong with the delivery process of the wheel also. For starters the wheel was not in transportation mode, (which it should have been in) and the package arrived in poor condition. All in all be aware that there is a risk when buying the wheel. If you don’t want to risk it save yourself the headache and don’t buy this wheel. ... show more

Hello I’ve got mine last year and it is my favorite scooter so far. How do I do to ship it from NYC to Paris, I am moving and the transportation company don’t want to ship it due to lithium battery. Is there a way to remove the battery?

So I’m not sure if my weight was too much. Im 6’5, 255lbs. As soon as I get to 10mph it starts to wobble uncontrollably. It says the max weight is around 265lbs. Not sure if I was so close to the max that it was throwing off the self balancing or what.

    • Wheel powered off at 27mph throwing me to pavement!!!!
Wheel was great up untill it shut down while I was doing 27mph....I was slammed into pavement and got some nasty road rash on legs. The unit tumbled into a car like a wrecking ball denting the drivers side door then slid into the curb. I am lucky to be alive. After some research it appears others have had this issue as well. I really enjoyed the unit and understand the risks involved but am certain this unit was defective. It's now a 2000 dollar paper weight it will not power on without the charging cable plugged in...... Once removed it shuts down instantly.... I really liked everything about it and I am hoping it was a defictive unit but as it stands I can not recommend it. If you buy one of these I would highly suggest you gear up cause you will go down. ... show more
