If you walked in my room you would probably think the room is a deep cool brown, no red or warm tones. Assembly was super easy we build it same day. Couldn’t be more than 3 hours depending on how easy it is for you to assemble most things. (Sounds like a lot but times flies when your focused on a “big” project like this) The only issue we had was with the lock hinge on the sliding door. The hinges pre designated holes were the slightest bit too low I think and once we got the sliding door on we noticed the hinge was crooked and a little out of place so we couldn’t actually lock it. We unscrewed the hinge and fit it to the lock and then re screwed them in and it’s great. Overall a great product so far. I’m not the best at measuring but hopefully the pictures give you a good real life estimate of the size. It came with plenty of extra parts and even a really cool magnetic screwdriver that I’ll definitely be keeping forever. My dog has gotten bigger now and has occasionally scratched at the inside and it’s still in good condition. She did pee inside it (we don’t want her doing that but we didn’t realize she had to go and used it to go pee in the middle of the night. We have coyotes so we don’t really let her out to pee by herself.) thankfully? We have lots of blankets in there for her so that soaked it all up. Without any bedding the pee probably would have gotten into the crack for the sliding door and would have been hell to clean, if not stayed there forever. I think even a puppy pad would risk this, just something to consider if you do happen to be training your dog to pee in there. I have been using this nonstop without a coaster and it is holding up amazingly. No rings and there’s no raising of wood that you’ll see on certain woods. Overall good water resistance and scratch resistance.

I love how this dog crate looks like furniture! I love this so much! I was able to add it in our hallway and it looks like a little table vs an ugly wired dog kennel. It’s great quality, was easy to assemble, great size for our pug and the door functionality is great on both sides! Highly recommend!

Im writing this based on appearance and ease of putting together. No extra tools needed and I did it by myself in 2 hours reading carefully and placing all items out in an organized fashion ahead of time. It is pretty sturdy, but if I try to move it around a bit one leg seems just a tad off, easily remedied with a small stick on furniture pad. The size is perfect to put in a corner for our adopted dog to feel like she has a little cubbyhole to hide in, and will easily fit a medium sized dog as she is about 25 pounds and it looks like it’s plenty of space. After assembly, I lifted it and moved it myself, so I would say while it is sturdy. It is also portable and easy to move to another area of your house if you need to. I made one big modification by leaving the front doors off completely due to the fact that this dog is an elderly dog who has never been created before. It makes it seem more open unless threatening that we’re not gonna close her in… this is only because she likes to hide under furniture for her to have a little hiding spot. Overall, very happy with this purchase.

Overall, very nice. My dog did take a little bit of time to adjust because of the sound it makes when you open the sliding door. Would be nice if it was fully quiet but nothing that a little time to adjust didnt fix. Its a not too heavy or too light to move around if needed. The doors have multiple safety latches to make sure your pup is kept safe and the space inside was suitable for my dog's size. I like the multiple door options so I can rearrange it in different ways. Only bigger issue I had is one of the screws didnt want to tighten and fell out a few days after which could've been a hazard to my dog if I wasn't there when it fell out (heard it fall). It still seems pretty sturdy but company should definitely make sure all their screws can be properly tightened to avoid a choking hazard or trip to the vet.

I wanted a dog crate that looked like furniture as I would be keeping it in my dining room/living room area. Initially I wanted one with drawers, but it turned out that I was going to get to pick up my rescue dog about a week earlier than I thought, so I ordered this as it was scheduled to come the day before I was going to pick up my dog and none of the crates with drawers I was looking at would come in time. Unfortunately, it then got delayed by several days (can't fault the product for that, maybe the seller). So, I do wish I just ordered one with the drawer even though I wouldn't get it before I got my dog since that was the case with this anyway. I "solved" the organization issue that caused by buying a couple baskets that I put on top of the crate to hold my dog's things, they just aren't out of sight when there are guests as I had wanted. Still, it looks like furniture, and not just a cage. I have friends or family over nearly every week. I've had multiple guests comment on how good it looks, and some who are dog owners are considering buying this crate, or one like it, after seeing mine. Be careful when putting it together. The particle board isn't as strong/thick as I expected. When putting one of the pegs into its hole, I used a hammer (like I've found helpful when putting IKEA furniture together) and it pushed it all the way through, even though I just used a gentle tap with the hammer. I took the piece of particle board it ripped out and repaired it as best I could with Gorilla Glue. I thought it was going to look terrible, but it is hidden enough that, even when you look for it, it is hard to tell I needed to do a repair. Still, if you are careful and just insert the pegs into their holes with your fingers you will be fine (again, DO NOT use a hammer). I have only had it for about 2 months, so it is hard to judge durability yet, but it seems to be fine. It works as it should and keeps my dog in when he needs to be in his crate (and he WILL try to get out). I like that there are two doors. I feed him in his crate, so it is nice to have one for him to enter and exit the crate, and another for his food bowl.

My little princess loves this penthouse crate. It did take some time to assemble but it is definitely worth it. The material is of great quality. and looks amazing. The sliding door does make sounds and it is enough to annoy my munchkin but she is a skittish dog. The latch on the sliding door should be stronger and another mechanism to lock it in place should be better. I am waiting for the day that my smarty figures out how to open it, and I am sure she will. With that said, you do have a latch at the bottom to keep the door from sliding and that should help prevent the door from completely opening.

This cage is beautiful, but not as functional as I was hoping it would be. It was not difficult to put together, however, the sliding door on the longer side is just not right. It’s even a bit dangerous, as puppies can easily put their paws through there and get them stuck/hurt as you are trying to slide open the door, if you’re not super careful. Also, the sliding door will not properly stay on the track no matter what we do! We even took it apart and tried again, following every step of the directions, but no luck. It only has one tiny connection point at the bottom track and two at the top (see photos), but it is super loose and easily falls off. Thankfully, there are two locks or else it would not safely function at all. Our dogs are small and not super hyper so it works fine for them. But if you have a dog that tries at all to get out or push on the cage door, it could be an issue. I’m sad this isn’t as great as other reviewers said it was, but we are still using it because it is beautiful and our dogs are pretty chill. I just check and double check it every time I put them in there. Update: The company clearly has amazing customer service! They saw my review and reached out immediately on their own to find a solution. I added a star for that because it’s hard to find these days.
