Purse is not tote size; it is a medium size purse which comfortably holds apple 17 pro max phone, a zipped pocket for credit cards, ID, two open interior pockets perfect for sunglasses and lipsticks. The exterior pocket also zips. The crochet on the outside is tightly woven of a durable, non-pilling thread; there is a bronze liner that peaks through underneath the crochet. Inside the lining is also a high quality fabric that keeps my cell phone and sunglasses from getting scratched. The zipper quality on all 3 zippers is also commendable. This purse is absolutely beautiful and well made. The internal pockets, including a zippered one, make it easy to keep organized. I took it on a 15-day trip to Italy and it went through a lot--being overstuffed, being pushed into bigger bags, being used for 10 hours a day, etc. It still looks brand new! Not a single bead fell off or is even loose, the strap held significant weight without any signs of stress, and the zipper is high quality. Even though it's such a light color, it didn't get dirty at all, even when taken on a hike up Mt. Vesuvius! I got many compliments, and I plan to use this for many more years. Well made as most Sak bags are. I got this one because I love the colorful beads and the long strap. However, I wish the strap was leather, which is what the description mentioned. I guess that only pertained to the one bag on the first picture that came up on the ad. That is why only 4 stars. I have another Sak which has the leather strap with chunky hardware and leather on each side of the bag which the strap is attached to. This makes the bag much more durable and classy looking too in my opinion. That bag is cream/ black in color with black leather and muted silver hardware. Same bag other wise. Size is perfect.     • Who thought of the brassy lining?

It's a perfect size, and the neutral color can be worn with everything, but I don't like the brassy lining. It certainly doesn't go with all of the silver on the purse. I am still debating whether to send it back or not.
