This review is for those that got suckered into buying a Dell Alienware PC like I did. If you were smart, you'd order the desktop with the measly 8gb stick to get your hands on a sold-out RTX3080, while saving hundreds of dollars in Dell up-charges. These Fury X ram modules have been working very good so far. It runs at the advertised speed, and its way cheaper to buy them off amazon than get fisted by Dell for an inferior version of the Fury X. Dell and Apple charge over a grand for 128gb of ram. Originally bought the 32gb 3466mhz model, but Alienware's motherboard only supports 128gb at 3200mhz. Its one of the reasons I chose this over the Hyper X Predator series. The reason this is a must-buy for Alienware owners is because the proprietary hardware that Dell crams into their PC's isnt compatible with many of the popular after market hardware. Hyper X Fury sticks install easily. Just a quick setting in the BIOS menu to enable XMP option to unleash their full speed and its good to go. The sad part of my rig is that I'll never get to see the RGB light up in the Alienware case. Oh well, 128gb Ram for a little over $500 bucks isnt bad.

I originally bought the Corsair Vengence LED ram 4x16 for a build. That ram was too tall for my build to use 4 sticks and the capacity I needed wasn't available. I bought 2x32gb sticks of HyperX 3600ghz for an AMD 3950x / Asus B550m BUILD. Good choice. XMP works without issue. The led software is oddly in beta and downloadable from the HyperX website. Called Ngenuity. The software is simple to use and simple in design. Not a lot of features or changes you can make in it. The LED's rest when you reboot into windows on occasion. Which returns when you reboot and open the software. I would like a RAIN effect like the corsair had, but that is me. The lower profile/lower height ram is great. It fits under my air cooler without clearance issues. The 32gb sticks is another bonus as I don't need to fill all four slots to get 64gb. Availability is another bonus. I have bought other HyperX ram before and have never had an issue. I anticipate the same from these. Recommended.

They look great, the heat spreaders are nice. The color is fantastic. Every PC builder loves the little stickers the manufacturers send with their product :D, and Kingston sends one as well. Installed in my system, and without having to use any XMP profiles, system detected the full 32GB, running at the expected 2666MHz speed. Highly satisfied, and it seems stable in my system. For the price, and value you really can't go wrong with Hyper X. I will also say the CAS latency at 16 is really good too.

Would that my own memory was this solid, but then we all forget things now and anon. Put 'em on my Asus Z490 mobo; my 'puter is FAST now. Used to take Bluestacks almost a minute to load - now it takes all of six seconds. Everything is faster, and it's really nice to find parts on Amazon/Best Buy/Newegg, etc., where you have a choice of NOT having to pay the most expensive price for the same article, be it memory, a processor, the mobo, whatever. I got my system built without a hitch. 'Cept, no new graphics card; maybe I'm not gullible or stupid enough to pay $1400.00 for a $600.00 graphics card. Why do people do this? Scarf up all the parts they can, then double the price and more, and hey, let's sell 'em on Ebay! Vote with your wallet, as is said, and DON'T pay it! Be patient and get one at a reasonable price from the mfgr. Thanks, & sorry for the diatribe.

I have a 3900x and a 3090. I got this kit to compliment them. I installed these they do work. They default to 2400mhz, and you have to turn on xmp to get them working at the rated speed. Ok cool, well I didn’t have time at first to test that I had work to do on the machine. Later on when my Amazon return window closed unlucky me, I tried turning on xmp. It crashed. I tried 2 motherboards. On my aserock 450m pro 4 I could get these max at 2933mhz stable. And on my newer msi 550m pro-vdh WiFi I could only get 2733mhz. It’s been a hassle too. I didn’t even know about the xmp thing at first, just thought these would run at the advertised speed. But even when enabling it, it crashes and on my msi it crashed so bad it corrupted my bios! I had to reflash it using a usb stick! Lucky for me I paid attention to the manual to notice you could do that! If you are going to get these be informed! Test xmp immediately and if it does not work return them. Don’t wait and don’t assume they just work.

Shipping was fast but plastic package was shattered in places leading to finding shards of sharp plastic stuck between the heatsink and pcb itself. Hoppffuly the shards of plastic didnt damage anything. Haven't pluged it in yet wanted to make sure all the shards are out first. Then I will plug it in tomorrow and test it. Also I didnt notice some of the small shards had fell out on to the floor untill one stuck into my foot that was sure a lot of fun. So anyone ordering this might want to wear shoes when unboxing... On the upside it came with a sticker so theres that... if this sounds a bit negative well my uboxing was so there u go. I have since I'm plugged it in and it works great no problems but can't control the rgb and rgb doesn't time together after a while and there's no way to turn the rgb off it seems...

Awesome product. It makes a huge difference in the speed of my PC with these new ram sticks. Current setup is 32GB but will look into getting the max potential of 64GB. They're also compatible with the motherboard I have as well which I was a bit hesitant at first but after doing extensive research, I bought these and it works perfectly. I RECOMMEND these 100%.

This memory is sold as 3200MHz DDR4 memory; It is in fact 2400MHz DDR4 memory that can be overclocked to 3200 MHz if you enable Intel XMP. It should be described as HyperX Fury Black 2400MHz DDR4 CL17 DIMM, with speeds upto 3200MHz with XMP enabled.
