The Elite Life Jacket by Hyperlite, is well-made and easy to wear while providing all the protection needed with a muted styling for those of use that don’t want it flashy. The fit was as expected and it can easily be gender neutral, as it doesn’t seem to make a whole lot of difference except maybe being a little shorter. Hyperlite makes some high quality products. I have a few of their wakeboards and everything I’ve tried of theirs seems to work very good and hold up over time. This is a great choice if you’re looking for a simple and effective, high quality life vest that floats amazing. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it. You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product. I got this for my wife this summer and she loves it! It’s made for a woman and she says it’s the most comfortable life vest she’s ever worn. It looks nice as well and very light weight. If it’s anything like the male version I got which I’ll review as well.. she’s on point with her claim. For around 60 dollars it’s definitely worth it! They are built really well, rugged, with quality materials, and seem they will last a long time.

I got this life jacket for kayaking. It fits as expected (the size xl is pretty much a true size xl). The material and quality is very good and no issues on that front. It definitely makes you float and bounce on the water, so does what it needs to. Definitely would recommend.

Super comfortable to wear and the fit is perfect for me or my wife, even though it does say women’s on the inside brochure it came with. It appears very high quality and extremely easy to adjust, zip it up and clip the clips….ready to go. The wife is 5’10”approx. 160lbs and it holds her up until he water quite well. It has a bit of ridding up but unless there’s a strap from the PFD(personal flotation device) coming down-rounding your crotch and clipping back to the PFD; it’s just going to happen. A little ridding up is not a big deal but if you don’t get the right size fitted then the PFD can ride up high enough to cause you to fall out of it…make sure the PFD is a fit to you..extremely important when being in the lake water or around swift water. It does have some cool designs on the PFD, pineapples which the wife is and has been into for a long time. I didn’t notice that when I got the PFD and I scored points!!! Time will tell on durability but appears very it will last a long time if taken care of. Overall, great product and works for us!! Happy times!!

Great quality life jacket. Thick float sections with nice light breathable sides. Good floatation in the water when skiing, tubing or just swimming. Thick clips and zippers that are durable. Adjusts to check and waist size. This is a very nice life jacket.

Got it for safety while out on my kayak in the lake. Star Rating System (What do my star ratings mean?): 1 STAR - Completely unusable, would request a refund 2 STAR - Meets minimum viable product requirements, wouldn't purchase it again 3 STAR - It does what it should, but in a non-spectacular way, I may recommend it, but definitely with reservations 4 STAR - I like it. It is solid quality and delivers as advertised, I would purchase it again and recommend it to a friend 5 STAR - I love it. We love HyperLite products. We've purchased several of their life jackets over the years and they've always held up great. This series is nice because it gives us a more conservatively styled life jacket with all the features we've come to expect. It's nice to have a set that doesn't have such crazy graphics or garish designs on it. I've found that as kids get older, they want them to look less cartoony, so this helps make sure they stay compliant with safety regulations as they're more willing to wear something that still looks good. (A silly reason, I know, but kids are kids - it's good to never give them a reason NOT to wear something that will keep them safe). Floatation, adjustability, and build quality are at the high end you've come to expect from HyperLite. These are very good quality life jackets that I'd say could be used for basically any water activities outside of competitive watersports that might require a high impact rating. We use these for paddleboarding and kayaking and are super satisfied so far.
