I picked this up because I wanted a simple fun neighborhood cruiser and so far it has been perfect for that purpose. The bike was packaged extremely well and was very simple to assemble. After assembly it did need a little tweaking to the brakes to get them to feel good and not drag but that kind of thing is to be expected. The ride is very smooth and the electric motor adds a nice little boost. The motor is also super quiet and I can't hear it running at all. I have already gotten many complements on the bike. My only real gripe is that it is just covered in decals and logos, and unfortunately they seem to be under the clear coat or something. None of those stickers and decals seem to be removable... at leat not without a lot of work. Personally I can already see a few things that I would like to upgrade, but I can never leave anything alone. It is pedal assist only by default, but the controller does have the wiring to add an inexpensive throttle control if you don't mind tinkering a bit. Also the cable actuated brakes aren't the greatest but they could be easily upgraded with a cable operated hydraulic caliper if you want a little more stopping power. Overall this bike is a great value and works really well out of the box, I love the style and the ride is nice. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a simple fun electric cruiser.

In stock form it's not terrible if you can get it for $500, still a much better choice than almost any other ebike for that price. That being said, I do feel that the brake calipers and cadence sensor (the part that tells the motor when you pedal) are weak points for the usability of the bike. Luckily I was able to install a throttle without needing a new controller, which greatly improves motor response, but I can't guarantee they'll all have that capability. The brakes on he other hand can always be upgraded, I decided to go with a mechanical caliper that squeezes the rotor from both sides and it works just about as well as a really cheap hydraulic brake while being able to use the original levers with the motor cut-off switches. I think if it had these simple upgrades from the factory, I would have given it the full 5 stars.

The media could not be loaded. I do have some issues. But what doesn’t. I really do like the Hyper E-BMX bike. I have been riding it at all my local parks and it’s a head turner. Everyone is shocked to find out it’s a E-bike. No one believes the price I bought it for. Compared to other sites. Ty Amazon.
