I was looking for AC for my master bedroom and found this AC. TBH I was little spectacle but damn this AC is awesome. It has all the new features, performance, functionality and cooling is amazing. It was the cheapest one I could find. After watching a few videos the install was pretty straightforward. It works amazingly. The WiFi connection is great because I can cool down my shop before I get home from work. The power draw is only about 950 watts on max cool. It came in three packages so be patient. Do not purchase this unit. I ordered two of them to cool two small rooms, and both failed almost immediately after installation. The first unit’s outdoor fan completely stopped working within 24 hours of installation. The second unit failed after approximately 48 hours of use. The installer thoroughly checked the electrical supply, wiring, and other potential causes, and no installation or power issues were found. The bottom line is that these appear to be very poor-quality units. A brand-new air conditioning system should not fail within days of installation, especially when two separate units experience similar issues. What should have been a simple upgrade turned into a frustrating and time-consuming process involving troubleshooting and dealing with defective equipment. To make matters worse, the seller has been very slow and unresponsive in addressing the issue. While waiting for assistance and attempting to arrange a return, I was forced to purchase replacement units just to keep the rooms cooled. The lack of customer support has only added to the inconvenience and expense. I am extremely disappointed with both the reliability of the product and the level of customer service provided. So far so good, ready to tighten the flare nuts on the line set. These nuts are mis-marked as 5/8" and 7/16", but are actually 17mm and 22mm. You will need to get a set of cheap metric crows feet and torque wrench (es) capable of ~13 and ~22 foot pounds. For the 3/8" nut my particular torque wrench went down to 23 foot pounds so that was OK, so for the 1/4" nut I had to use my inch pound torque wrench at its max setting of 156 inch pounds, which is the same as 13 foot pounds. It's best to use a tiny bit of Nylog Blue on the face of the flare. Tighten snug, then loosen, then torque it. It's critical to use a torque wrench because if you try guessing, you might under tighten and it will leak, or over tighten and damage the flare, and it will leak, and you will then have to cut off the flare and re-flare.
