I don't like the mounting for this thing AT ALL. I had a hell of a time and I'm still not done. I tried to put this onto a pre-existing pancake box on the side of my house... 1st Mounting Problem: No tapping screws, machine screws only. 2nd: The mount assumes a certain configuration of the box, had to use steel outdoor tapping screws and it wasn't ideal... 3rd: The safety cord has only a ball end, it needs a loop or something else. 4th: The wires would always get in the way, wouldn't shove in under the plate area, yet they leave massive amounts of room above the unit. I suggest making a channel to let extra wiring rest in this massive hole. 5th: The way it's supposed to hook on the top and then get pinned by the bottom is a JOKE. I could not get this thing on no matter how hard I tried. Unless the surface is completely flat, it's not going to work. 6th: The "pins" used to tighten it and hold it on are cheap cheap aluminum and mine came new out of box with one shred out already (someone must have returned it) Now I have to go buy a special mount for it and I'm probably going to use heavy duty steel tappers to keep this POS in place. ... show more

This light is super bright. I installed on the exterior of our warehouse and it lights up half the parking lot. It is installed about 10 feet off the ground and really should be installed 20ft off the ground to disperse the light better. I plan on buying more for other locations in our warehouse.

These are very bright. I used them on the side of my barn under an overhang where I park the tractor. They are also easy to install. The covers easily lift off so you can mount the base and wire them up. Then just snap the covers back on and plug int the connector. Easy-peasy.

I purchased these LED wall packs to replace older metal halide exterior lighting. They're much brighter, throw light out further, and use up less electricity than the old lights I had. They're a lot lighter in weight too. I've purchased 6 of these, and one did go out a year later, but I called Hykolity and they sent me a replacement right away. ... show more

These are much brighter than their incandescent equivalent. Installation is pretty straight forward. The light itself separates from the back housing so you can install the housing then attach the light. The housing also had a built in level so making it square is easy. The light portion clamps down to the housing with a gasket to make it water tight. ... show more

There is no space for the connection wire without installing a box. Also the photocell doesn't function well when it gets dark and causes the light to go on and off. I took out the existing photocell and installed an external one and now it works great. Puts out very bright light. I'll buy more.
