what i you love about This item is that they ship directly to Saudi Arabia. I struggle to find a light that have a timer with a specific details that I need in a light, I couldn’t find it anywhere for the price range that’s actually suitable for me . when I came across this light through Amazon US i was happy that they ship directly to Saudi Arabia. The light itself is made of a great quality material and it feels heavy and expensive. I struggled a bit to hook the back on the lights. It was a bit snug, but my husband managed to put it for me. After that it works perfectly. I love how the timer works, it lights up in the morning and it goes down at night. I have the clip on version of this light for a flex 15 tank and have found it to be excellent. It gives out plenty of light for my plants, they're doing great. In fact, I have been having to trim out a lot, and pull excess frogbit (surface floater plants) out because they've been growing sooooo well with this light.The brightness level is adjustable so if you start seeing unwanted algae growth, you can turn the brightness down or lessen the length of time you leave the light on during the day. I personaly like to let some algae grow in the back and sides for my plecos, shrimp and snails to enjoy. I just use a razer blade to clean the front glass algae off so I can see into my beautiful tank without obstruction. I do have two wishes: 1) I wish the 24 hour timer on/off times were a little more configurable that just three options available 2) I wish that the height was able to be adjusted higher because I have pothos growing emmersed in the bank of tank do not get much benefit from the light as most of their leaves are higher than the height of the light. Overall, I gave this aquarium light a 4 instead of a 5 due to those two wishes for more adjustability, but if you don't have emmersed plants gorwing above the water surface on the back of your tank, I think this is an EXCELLENT choice for your planted aquairum lighting. ... show more

The light is great - beautiful, excellent brightness, cool dimming settings, no issues. Great value for the price. My only complaint is that despite looking again, I see no effort for communicate that this light is designed for rimless tanks only. The place I intended to attach the light is less than 0.75in as mentioned, but the frame still prevents effective attachment. I have three different rim tanks and it won't work for any of them. I had to spend a few hours designing something to make this fit, which was pretty inconvenient. ... show more

These lights are very nice bright and my plants love them and the timer is simple and easy to use the 24 hour program that it has gives a great sim. Of a natural lighting change. Only 2 downsides to these lights first is the timer only starts from when you turn them on so you have to wait till it's the time of day you want them to come on you can't set them I advance or after. second downside the mounting bracket only goes up to 3/4 of a inch if your tank has a frame like mine it won't simply fit. They should offer a option for a larger bracket. But I was able to make a mounting rail for my aquarium and make them work well worth the trouble because these lights are great I have them on another aquarium and love how well they work is why I knew what I had to do to use them on this aquarium. ... show more

I have a 14 gallon rimless cube that I got this light for and it is great, however I did have a couple issues with the day and night setting on it, the day time lights will only come on if you also set up the night time lights, the tank is on my bedside table and I was afraid the night time lights would be too bright to sleep through so I only wanted the day time lights, it took me a couple days setting up because I couldn’t figure out why the day time lights weren’t coming on, but you have to set up the night time lights as well. Other than that putting it together and setting it up on the tank was extremely easy, one more thing I wish it came with some kind of rubber gasket so that the screws aren’t sitting on the glass.     • Beautiful lighting modes by Hygger, but..

I rated this 3 stars due to several issues I've hard with my light, though I wish there was half stars so I would give 3.5. When I received the unit the buttons on the controls were extremely hard to press in order to change through modes or turn on. So hard in fact that my hands hurt trying to press it. The only way I was able to remedy this defect was to press it with something hard and sharp, which then left an indent in the controls and then made it easier for me to press it with no issue. I realize my light was probably the odd one out with this issue. The plastic screws that hold it up are extremely hard to twist into the holes of the base or out of. This also hurts my hands. I wish this light didn't cause so much physical pain towards me. It also doesnt have a timer like the large Hygger I have on my 40 gallon tank, in which you can press the button to phase through the cycles of the day. The timer is self-paced so you have to set it at whatever time you need it to accordingly because it only has 3, 6, and 9 hour timing options with no way to skip through different phases of a 24 hour cycle like my larger other model does. This is something that I really wish this model had. Nonetheless, it's a beautiful light, and Hygger's products are usually of very top quality. There are just a few quips I have with the way this model was made, but it still serves as a fine bright light for planted aquariums. Hopefully others don't face the same issues. ... show more
