I just started taking drum lessons and really didn't know what I was getting into by buying this. It was easy to put together, but took me about an hour. The packaging it came in has a bunch of little unmarked boxes so please find a way to reuse those instead of throwing them away, you could gift things. The drum kit itself is pretty nice (again I'm a total noob). I really enjoy it. It took me bit to figure out the metronome and settings but I'm getting the hang of it. The only issue is that I can't tell if the kick bass is really low volume wise or the connector is broken. It's actually okay cuz I can still hear a beat from the actual hitting of the mallet so it's been a non issue, I'm just unsure if I'm not getting the whole sound. Good enough for me. The 4 star is because of the kick bass volume issue. I have not tried to record any of it and won't for a while but I think theres a midi output. Also, my roomies have said that they can't hear me hit the drums, but they can feel the vibration I was paid $3 Amazon gift card to leave an honest/ early review of the product.

Wow, very impressed with this kit! This was my first drumset, I've wanted one for about 12 years now, and I can say that this kit does exactly what I want it to do! The worst part about the set-up was the unboxing and clean-up: this kit comes in about 20 different boxes, and usually there are parts in bags within those boxes. The instructions were easy to follow, but do be careful when implementing the signal lines: there are small white labels that tell you which part it goes to on each of the lines. Overall, set up was easy, and took the expected 40-60 minutes. Getting started was as easy as plugging it in! Get yourself a nice pair of headphones, plug in your phone with a 3.5mm aux cord, and have fun jamming to your favorite songs! The user manual is very easy to follow: refer to the user manual when setting up your volume and sensitivity settings, you will need to do this right away. The only negative I have that the kit usually doesn't stay exactly where I want it to, so be very diligent in tightening your mounts ALL THE WAY. I would also like to see future models equipped with extendable legs, the low tom is just a little too low for my long legs. If you're a beginner like me who is looking for a quality and affordable electronic kit, your search is over!

I bought this drumkit. The reviews were limited so it was a leap of faith but overall I am satisfied. The sound wasn't perfect in my headset though that coulda been the headphones more so then the drums. On an amp though the drums are perfection. Responsive for sure. The dynamics or texture in how you hit it or where you hit it feel realistic and sound so as well. I like that I can hook it up into my Mac with the midi feature. There's a lotta small pieces but if you follow directions given in the manual its a reasonably easy set up. Though it took me about 40 or so minutes to get it up and going. I gave it five stars because it does everything I want it to. I can't speak for the difference between thousand dollar kits vs this one but I imagine with its Responsive, mesh heads and good feel, easy set up and variation in comfort adjustments i think anyone who has desire to drum would enjoy this. Only thing I dislike a little is there's on about 2 dozen drum settings so there's little variation apart from a funk setting and like a dj setting, the rest are pretty much standard kit sets with small variation. Some have more presets and that would add a little extra value and fun for this guy, but it's definitely not a deal breaker for me. I am a satisfied purchaser of this. Also in the rating it asked me about thickness...wtf? Lol š

Good basic kit to practice on. Iām basing my starred reviews on just that, a basic beginners kit. The only problem I had was the kick drum pad was barely audible. I had to buy a Simmons kick pad from guitar center to make it a better overall kit.

Everything was perfectly awesome until no sound came from the kick drum. I turned the sensitivity completely up and it started to trigger but it was so much quieter than the other drums that I could barely hear it. I turned its volume completely up and it still was barely audible. It was a real shame because the other drums sounded great. The set didn't take up much room and I was really looking forward to spending many years with it. If Avatar should fix the kick drum volume they would have an amazing set.

This drum kit is an amazing bargain. The sounds it produces are very realistic. One of the components in my kit did not work properly, and the seller quickly and cheerfully sent a replacement as soon as I notified them. Overall, I found this to be an excellent transaction.
