  • Best bass for the price
Size: 39" Right Handed Color: Natural Yellow
For an 88$ bass, this thing is amazing, I’ve owned it for a day, hasn’t went out of tune once, no fret buzz, havent had to fix it, im a guitarist and this is my first bass and I’m really happy with it, in my opinion I think this is better than getting a fender bass

  • A M A Z I N G !
Size: 39" Right Handed Color: Sunset
Never, in my wildest dreams, of ever buying a bass guitar, would I have ever thought that an instrument - at this price - could ever be such amazingly good quality, and sound!? I would have given blood at 13 years of age to have such an "impossible to believe", quality bass guitar!? The sound is as good as the playability - and straight out of the box - all I did was tune it! The action is set so that any user can play it immediately, which of course, if you are a pro, you might want to ensure playing longevity, and this will always be a personally relative thing. But I am blown away with how amazingly perfect this instrument arrived, so well set up from factory! The selected wood materials for the body and neck are typical, but seem above average. The electronics are as basic as the original wiring from our forefathers of electric guitars. And I'll wager they use oxygen-free copper in the winding of the pickups because they sound crystal clear and devoid of all noise - quiet as a mouse! The paint job is great. The attention to detail for a mass produced instrument at this price - is simply amazing! I can assure you, I am not trying to sell this product, but I think I found GOLD in California! And it comes in the form of a 4 string bass guitar. Thank you Glarry! ... show more

  • The bass is amazing! I hope every bassist has as much fun as I am having

Amazing quality, great sound, definitely worth the price, tuners are a little cheap but if you’re careful then they are fine

  • Bargain Price, but Nice Bass!
Size: 39" Right Handed Color: Red
As someone who has picked up acoustic and electric 6 string guitars over the years, always convinced that I'll somehow channel Stevie Ray Vaughan, only to find that I lose interest once I determine (again) that there's real work involved, I thought I'd give a bass a shot. I have zero confidence that I'll stick with it, but don't want to go to my grave not having tried playing one. So, I set out to get the cheapest, but hopefully playable, bass I could find here on Amazon. It looks like this same guitar wears a few different headstock names, but this one caught my eye because it has no name on the headstock. It arrived shipped in just one box (not a box in a box), but still I got it in great shape. The pros: cosmetically, this thing is absolutely perfect (I chose the red color). No kidding. I can't find paint issues, splinters, dings, scratches, or any faults anywhere on it. There's no fret sprout/sharp edges, the tuners don't slip (I did lube them first as a precaution), the pots feel good, the electronics work fine, and the only thing I encountered was the E string buzzing a bit. I adjusted the height using the saddle adjustment screws, let it sit, tuned it, let it sit, and it's now just fine. Cons: Absolutely none. Comes with a cable, truss rod wrench and is shipped free for about $65, so I feel either very fortunate, or whoever is making these actually cares about a guitar they're making for very few bucks. Either way, my experience was a good one. ... show more

  • At this price? 5 stars
Size: 39" Right Handed Color: Red
Let’s start with what’s wrong with it, because at this price point that’s probably what you want to know. The first thing I noticed right out of the box was that the back of the neck is a little rough. I can tell it has been sanded, and it’s certainly not going to give you splinters, but I’d be unhappy with it in a more expensive instrument. Not a big deal, just something I’ll be refinishing. Second, I was glad to see that the guitar came with strings, but was surprised to open the package and see that they were already on the guitar, and had some tension on them as well. Again, not a big deal, just not the way I would have done it. When I first started playing the instrument I noticed a few buzzy notes, but I haven’t adjusted the neck or tried any different strings yet, so the jury is still out on that one. I also would not trust the guitar strap that comes included. The bits that attach to the bass are made of VERY thin material. I’m just using one of my other guitar straps. And really that’s it for the “bad”. The tone is fine, playability is fine. I’m just looking at this as a mostly-finished instrument that just needs a little bit of tweaking and touching up to be really great. ... show more
