These should be packaged with manufacturer's weight towers as original equipment. If I'd have bought these first, I would have spent less than the half dozen garbage handles I've purchased. These are easy and comfortable to grip for push and pull cable exercises, even doing abs. They do have a little bit of length to them, so if you have a pair of cable towers, it will narrow the distance, which for my setup, definitely makes my dual overhead bicep curls feel claustrophobic and kills the full range of motion. But that's less of a problem with the handles and more of a problem with the space I had to install the towers in. If I ever lost my home gym for whatever reason and had to get a gym membership, I would put my name on these and take them with me, even at the risk of looking like a germophobe dork. While the "L" and "R" indicators are raised, they are hard to see because they are the same black as the handles and are only on one side. A couple careful strokes with a silver sharpie takes care of that. ... show more

These are hefty handles! They are larger than I was expecting, yet are strong and sturdy. They have a good feel in the hand and rotate nicely. I only wish the grip was a little thicker. I feel it is too "thin" for my grip (hand) and I am left wanting for something thicker. My son, however, finds them a perfect for him. Regardless, it has a great feel in the hand and is a great addition to our home gym! ... show more

    • Nice to have in the home gym but I'd say you can even bring them to the gym with you if you want
Nice set of grips to use on any pulley system in my opinion however, for me, I picked these up hoping it would reduce the discomfort I was having with some exercises within a given range of motion and the muscles around my wrists, running up my forearm, and into my elbow. The pain, or issue, you'd almost think was tendonitis but that wasn't the case according to my orthopedist more so it was joint and bone related. Anyway, I started using these and had no issues getting full range of motion and getting just short of lock out during my lifts. Great purchase for me and I'd recommend to anyone to give them a try. ... show more

HXD-ERGO D Handle Cable Attachment, Ergonomic Heavy Duty Exercise Handles for Home Gym Workout Equipment, Non-Slip and Comfortable Grip. These are huge and well made. The amount of surface area to get your hand on is very large. These are handed, there is a left and a right. You will see that each handle has a slope at the top, the lower end of the slope needs to be facing towards you for your hand to fit. Maybe this sounds complicated but once you have figured it out, it is intuitive. Your hand will only fit one way. I find this very comfortable I am a male that takes a large glove size, although I personally do not think I have large hands. My wife who wears a medium size glove, but strangely enough has a longer palm than me does not find the grip as comfortable as me, but she does find it more comfortable than a straight handle. I believe if I had an extra large male hand or my fingers were wider they would feel bunched up and restricted in the space provided for them. CONCLUSION: These allow me to use more weight and retain my grip than a conventional D Handle. The downside is that you won't get as much grip training by struggling to hang on to that straight D handle. You will still need to keep your regular straight bar D handles for those times you are moving enough weight you need to use some sort of grip to hand on, or are doing exercises with a false grip etc. Thank you for reading my review and looking at my photos of this product. Listen to me. This is the single most ergonomically sound thing these hands have ever held. Anywhere. Of anything. I’m not kidding. This is now THE standard of any gym equipment requiring hand holds I’ve ever encountered, and everything else comes up short. I wasn’t sure about getting just handles at this sort of price point, but boy was I pleasantly surprised. An added benefit, I have far less strain on my shoulders and wrists than ever before, and I find that I can isolate muscles groups as needed with pinpoint accuracy. I’ll say it this way, I take these to the gym EVERY time I go, if replacing the standard grips with your own from the house is any indication of how much I’d vouch for them. Take it how you will, but if you’re anything like me this will be one of the better purchases you’ve made in a good long time. Happy lifting… ... show more

    • Bigger than I thought and HEAVY
The handles are so much bigger than I thought they would be. They're also super heavy which is great for stability but not super conducive to carrying in a gym bag - these would be better for an at home gym setup.
