The Total Gym Extreme is a great asset to the daily routine. Very durable, rated for 250lbs. I myself was 300lbs at the beginning, of course timid about structural integrity, the machine performed with no problems. Of course treating it with respect and using it only as intended. The cards are a very helpful, especially for me as a beginner to fitness, very educational along with provided dvds. The Total Gym makes it so much fun to work out…and I am NOT the kind of girl who likes to work out! Following the instructions on the cards, it was easy to get the exercises downloaded to my muscle memory banks. From there, I just mix and match exercises depending on what I’m in the mood for. If you prefer a more structured work out (not for me), there are plenty of routines to choose from in the deck of exercise cards. This quality piece of equipment makes in fun and easy to improve your strength and overall fitness in a short amount of time. I really like this. Was a little hard to follow some of the instructions and L vs R was on wrong for 2 parts but was easy to figure out.

I love this machine. My only complaint is I have to wear a hat to keep my hair from getting caught in the pulley mechanism (my hair isn’t all that long either.)

The total gym is so great. I couldn’t afford one online from their website but this one was affordable at under $500 with all the props. As I have disabling conditions that no longer allow me to work out the way I used to, this thing relieves my pressure on my body and allows me a full workout with full range of motion pain free. Already mostly assembled. It is a little heavier than I expected. Glad my son in law was there to help me get it out of the box and unfolded. Sturdy built. My wife and I have been using it for 2 weeks, 3 times a week and have already noticed an improvement in flexibility and waist line ( modest improvement) the exercises are fairly simple and easy to adjust the resistance.
