Already mostly assembled. It is a little heavier than I expected. Glad my son in law was there to help me get it out of the box and unfolded. Sturdy built. My wife and I have been using it for 2 weeks, 3 times a week and have already noticed an improvement in flexibility and waist line ( modest improvement) the exercises are fairly simple and easy to adjust the resistance. I think it usable for all ages and abilities.

Very easy to use and good quality. However, the foot board attached is not wide or long enough for a proper squat. I disassembled the board and added a larger piece of plywood. I used the same acres for the foot board and screwed it into the board and attached brackets to secure the board. This system did not have a wing attachment, but there are plenty of other attachments and one could purchase the wing separately if desired. Infomercials make it seem like this would be easy to close up and store away. I would beg to differ. This unit is a bit too heavy and awkward for that. Leaving it out requires 8 ft. of space.

This is a wonderful way to get a good workout at home. It doesn't take up much room and is easily folded up. I am in my 80's. I've been working out on it for 4 1/2 months now and have more muscles than I ever had in the past. My body feels awake. I exercise 3 or 4 times a week. I don't like going to a gym and this works out just as well, if not better.

The total gym is so great. I couldn’t afford one online from their website but this one was affordable at under $500 with all the props. As I have disabling conditions that no longer allow me to work out the way I used to, this thing relieves my pressure on my body and allows me a full workout with full range of motion pain free. It folds up nicely to be out of the way and quickly unfolds in any location. I can actually work out within my daily schedule when I want to.

The Total Gym Extreme is a great asset to the daily routine. Very durable, rated for 250lbs. I myself was 300lbs at the beginning, of course timid about structural integrity, the machine performed with no problems. Of course treating it with respect and using it only as intended. The cards are a very helpful, especially for me as a beginner to fitness, very educational along with provided dvds. This system is really what they say, durable, effective, and with so many combinations in one simple system. It's a perfect fit in my garage. Thanks to Total Gym, I've lost a lot of weight, and it really makes my daily workout routine enjoying.
