The media could not be loaded. I think this was made to be able to tap in and run something off of a breaker box, have seen and heard of this done, but is a really bad idea. Doing that you are basically using the cord as your fuse as a 12AWG cord will just melt if get a short and your main is say 100 amps or more. I am going to put in my electrical tool kit so I have something to connect a radio, outlet tester, etc to should I need to check or locate a circuit. This would be behind a breaker though. This can also be used with batteries to run some types of tools that run on AC normally. Most drills, saws, etc use a universal motor that can run on AC or DC. It will take a lot of batteries though to make 120V. ... show more
