Description

The Flexzilla Retractable Extension Cord Reel comes pre-loaded with 25 feet of 16 gauge oil resistant cord, a lighted triple tap outlet and grounded 5 foot lead-in cord. The reel also contains a circuit breaker with reset button, adjustable cord stopper, power indicator light, and a swivel mounting bracket. The reel locks the cord out in 1 foot increments. The impact resistant housing protects and stores the extension cord when not in use. This retractable reel is ideal for general, commercial and industrial use.

It was the plastic hollow type and just shattered, this one is solid rubber so I wouldn’t be worried to drive over it. It comes ready to mount. Took me longer to get my tools out then it did to mount it. One prior review said he took the swivel pin out (not necessary) to mount the bracket. I simply decided where I wanted to position the top mounting lag screw. Drilled a pilot hole, started the screw leaving a gap to slide the bracket on. Hung the reel on the top screw, marked the bottom bracket hole to drill the pilot hole. Set the reel aside, drill the bottom pilot hole, start the screw leaving a gap. Slide the reel bracket down over the screw heads and tighten. I used 1/4” x 1” lag screws with hex heads. Perfect fit with the mounting bracket. ... show more

This will trip if too much load is placed on it. I plugged in a table saw and tripped the internal breaker. I expected so much, but it was the most convenient receptacle at the time. It works great otherwise. I wish they provided mounting screws with it.

This is an awesome retractable cord reel. This is made of heavy duty electrical cord, heavy duty retracting spring with great tension.. Also has a built in 15 amp fuse on the side. The only brand I buy!
