It's a great extension cord with a a heavy duty yet flexible cord, overall it just feels like a quality product. Wanted to comment on another review though, they mentioned poor slip-ring contact. This can't have slip rings, the outlet face turns with the spool, the only time there would be slip rings is if that was stationary while the spool spun around it. I haven't found anything I dislike about the cord reel extension so far. It is something that is very convenient to use and offers 4 outlets in the reel that comes in very handy when you have a need for additional outlets. I like the fact that the reel holds 80 feet of 14 gauge electrical cord which also makes this item a winner. I’ve been dealing with a single 20 ft extension cord in an old garage that has two outlets for years and when the grounding prong came out I knew it was time for a new one. This thing is awesome, it’s easy to reel and unreel, a handy clip on the end for the plug to stay on the reel, and 4 outlets plus a power switch. I have spent way too much time trying to straighten out and coil up extension cords. I finally got sick of it and moved myself up to the big leagues with this 4-port extension. It is heavy duty and easy to use. It has a switch to cut power that also lights up so you can be certain when power is flowing. I have used it a fair amount already and it has been better than I could have hoped. The very best part is being able to wind up the cord neatly and efficiently. This makes it super easy. All extension cords are pretty pricey these days, but this one wasn't bad for a heavy duty 80 foot cord, even if it was one without the reel. This extension cord is awesome, very handy. Having 4 outlets makes projects much easier and the reel to wind it up saves so much time. It’s sturdy and lightweight, maybe a little on the expensive side but so worth it. I definitely recommend this extension cord.
