I have been watching this knife set for months. When I first discovered it, the price was not really what I wanted to pay. It went up and down, hitting various price points until finally a couple of days ago, the price dropped to what I was willing to pay. I haven't used them much yet, but overall the look very nice. They appear to be sharp enough to handle all of my cooking tasks. I can not attest to rust resistance, but the quality appears to be decent. They are beautiful in my kitchen, matching all of my other stainless steel appliances. I am very happy with this purchase.

Over the years I have been disappointed with every kitchen knife I purchased. Most would not hold an edge, and the angle of the cutting edge was too great to provide the sharpness I sought. I purchased four different Huusk knives, Viking style Butcher knife 8” Japan Chef knife, 3” Damascus Paring knife, and 12” sharpener rod, and I am very pleased with all four. I will caution you that these knives are straight razor sharp so for the first few weeks handle them carefully until you get the hang of using them. A quick run over the steel after a few uses maintains the edges. If you are looking for a ’Sharp’ knife for your kitchen, I recommend these knives.

This is a nice k ife set, but I am disappointed in the hollow handles. The pair of scissors it comes with are just like a cheap store brand though, nothing like the heavy metal scissor pair from this same company, that also has a nice metallic 'snip' sound when you close them. These are all metal though, just the handles are hollow. Not what I expected at all. Good value for the money.

The item is weighted perfectly and made of pretty durable steel. I am still figuring out what to cut with because with some items it is incredibly sharp but try slice a tomato and nothing.

I love using this knife! In fact I like it so much that I bought a second one to give to my adult son. It is well balanced and easy to use. I easily sharpen it fairly regularly on my knife sharpening block because I believe a sharp knife is a safer knife. It cuts large pieces of meat with ease. This is a beautiful addition to my cleaver collection. It has become one of my favorites.
