The great thing about this product is that a little goes a long way. The paste like texture makes it easy to apply to hard to reach location (shoulder blade) without it dripping. It is also keeping a black and gray forearm tat vibrant and smooth.

I really enjoy this product. It smells amazing, and has a creamy texture. The ingredients are fantastic. Good for a healing and itchy tattoo, and I even apply to older tattoos sometimes for a little sheen. the moisturizing effect is noticeable and long lasting. I also find that because of the moisturizing ingredients, it works really well as a chapstick and almost instantly revitalized my dry, chapped, sore winter lips! I only rated it 4 stars because 1) It is pretty pricey for what is essentially a mixture of a few different oils with scent added. I ordered the smallest size possible because of the price. 2) The texture is very thick. Mine took long enough to ship that I didn't get it until my tattoo was already peeling, but I don't think I would have liked to rub it into a brand new tattoo because of the thickness when applied. I bought this because I found that aquaphor is too thick for me and hard to apply to tattoos. If you have found aquaphor hard to apply because of the thickness, this product may be too thick as well. ... show more

I have been getting tattooed for 10+ years, and usually just use a bit of Aquaphor and unscented lotion, but my artist suggested this for the dry peeley phase on a large tattoo, and it's amazing! Smells amazing (naturally, no added scents) and soaks in fast. Will buy it again when I run out!
