  • Good snow machine.
We haven't used it much yet but what snow we have gotten it is a great snowblower. There is some assembly required, so plan on about an hour to 2 hours to put it together. My husband and I are good at mechanical things but there were a few things I would like to pass on to others. First use the picture instruction sheet with the instruction manual, the picture instruction are not easy to understand. Second the shoot cable has to be attached to a lever on the control board on the handle area. This is not clear in the picture instructions. This cable comes up from the back of the handle shaft , though a hole in the handle shaft, and runs up the center of the shaft to attach to the rubber handle. Third and most important, the throttle, transmition cable must be hooked up. No problem here since the instruction book describes this clearly. BUT in the picture instructions it shows a bolt at the back, bottom of the machine associated with this cable. Told my husband don't know what we are suppose to do here but keep it in mind. Well YOU MUST take this bolt out or the machine will not move. It holds the cable in the neutral position for hooking the cable to the handle on the handle bar area. THE machine will not move until this bolt is removed. Update: Well we got the snow and this machine did a great job in 12+ inches of snow, one time it was heavy wet snow, other times light fluffy snow, and it has never clogged or had any troubles. The only thing I might say is if the snow is heavy and deep you might have to go a little slower. Very happy with it. ... show more

  • Great Machine
The tracks are essential. It clears a wide area and is very good at removing snow. Have used it three times already and it has done an excellent job.

  • Faulty bearing mount design
The bearing mount on this machine is poorly designed and the bolts break frequently completely disconnecting the track assembly from the machine causing the gears to slip and strip. This has now happened 3 times on my machine. The first two times it happens the machine was under warranty and repaired at the dealership, but now it’s on me to try and fix this. The dealer said almost every machine they sold has come back with this same problem. It’s got a great engine, but it’s worthless if it won’t drive. Get something else. ... show more

  • An excellent and effective snowblower.
5 years of use in central Idaho mountains using regularly countless times each year on a graded gravel driveway some 850ft long. The only time it was down was when I ran over a large rock which took our a shear pin on one of the two rotating blades. The shear pins are designed to break off, or "shear" off. when a large object is taken into the machine. It took me all of 10 minutes to replace the shear pin of which I have a dozen backup and this only happened once in 5 years. Overall I am very pleased with the machine and heartily recommend it. I will say this however, it weighs 375lbs and occasionally I would get into some ice and need to pull the unit back a bit to help the tracks some to get going again. I'm 6'1" tall and weigh 185lbs and it's humbling. In a situation like that a very lightly built person may have some issues. ... show more
