Feels sturdy and well-built but also surprisingly light (housing is plastic) ... the battery adds a good bit of weight, but it's well-balanced, making it easy to handle. Offers a few different air speed settings and a "cruise control" feature so you don't have to hold down on the trigger. Comes with two swappable tip attachments; a high speed nozzle and a scraper nozzle. Comes with a battery and charger ... normally around $300 to buy on their own, so the bulk of the price is the battery kit. Thankfully the batteries are compatible with other Husqvarna yard equipment. Overall, I'm happy with the performance and battery life. Without the power boost mode, this blows just a bit harder than my old corded one. But I have complete control of the speed, so can use it very lightly when I want. There's a button to lock in whatever speed I've chosen. The best thing about it is the power boost. It's surely not as powerful as an expensive gas backpack blower, but it works great on my wet leaves and pine needles, even those wadded up along the side of the road. Battery dies quickly in hi mode. In the regular speed mode the battery lasts pretty long but regular speed doesn’t do much for blowing leaves and debris so it almost has to be run in hi speed mode for what I need the blower for. A spare battery is over $300! In hi speed mode it does a good job, as good as my gas blower but as I mentioned the battery dies quickly, like 15-20 min. ... show more

I have always had gas-powered blowers due to living in a maritime forest. I needed the 200mph to move a massive amount of leaves year-round. I did not think a battery-powered blower would have the power or last long enough on a single battery to meet my needs. This American-Made blower is the best. A spare battery would help, but at 70 years old, I am worn out about the time the battery is. This blower has the power to do the job without the hassles of flooded carbs and cold starts. It's a little heavy, because the battery weighs a lot, and the battery charge doesn't last very long, But that said, this thing is a dream machine. i dont normally do reviews but when there are many factors that need to be mentioned i am all in for a review. so first issue after i purchased this for close to $300 amazon decided to lower the price almost $50 so i had to fight with them via chat and they said i would have to send it back for a refund then order another at the cheaper price. are you kidding me !!!! so they ship usps and they want stuff shipped back UPS which is 30 miles away. on the product my battery was DOA , i put it on the charger for 3 hours never went past 1 dot out of 4 also there is suppose to be a cooling fan running on the battery and there wasnt one running while on the charger. so yeah its a POS , so to avoid amazon terrible return i tried to contact Husqvarna i spent several hours chatting trying to just get the battery replaced arguing with several agents to get no where i am saying there support and service is horrible and all i got from them saying please wait 2 to 4 business days for a response what a joke. so i am sending it back to amazon asap for a refund , i am not paying this kind of money and trusting a item thats DOA and a company that refuses to help. NO THANKS ! UPDATE 30 DAYS LATER this company NEVER did contact me and offer to fix this issue! i ended up in a email battle with 2 different chat agents from 2 different countries. every 5 days i would receive a response. i sent them pictures , videos , receipts anything they asked for. at one point i was told i could ship the battery and charger to them and they would consider a replacement but i had to pay shipping and not a for sure thing they would. another says take it to a local shop that sells them. i did that only to be told they would not repair it or replace it unless told to by husqvarna. so again spent weeks emailing them back to get know where on that. this is the worst company i have ever dealt with in my life. or should i say tried to deal with. calls dont get returned , chat sessions end in anger there agents are scripted and stuck on rinse and repeat.
